Steve and Katy's new puppy is testing quality control of Sports America luggage tags. Also turns out said 16lb puppy can leap 3ft+ from a standstill and reach onto countertops with no effort (Italian Greyhound mix).

The tags fared poorly.

Alterra, providers of the IKON Pass and owners of Mammoth/Steamboat/Winter Park and many more, just bought Schweitzer. Likely a net positive in the group/ski club world. Will be interesting to watch how this transpires.

What a great Mountain Travel Symposium this year!

Staying at the Fairmont, skiing Sunshine Village and Lake Louise, catching a show by the northern lights, and listening in on a talk by the first alpine skier to represent Jamaica in the Olympics, Benjamin Alexander, were some amazing highlights. (And - we may be biased - but owner Sara Clemons' breakfast discussion on the state of the industry was obviously spectacular.)

But as always, catching up with old friends and colleagues, and hanging out with new acquaintances, is what we love the most. Thank you all for another great season! Until next time...

In all the chaos of ski season, sometimes we forget how lucky we are to have the opportunity to ski such amazing places with so many great people.

Thanks to the Tampa Bay Snow Skiers and Boarders for letting me tag along to Telluride Ski Resort and Crested Butte Mountain Resort. Such fun times!

We got a bit of snow.....that's my F150 in there somewhere. I'll be spending most the day moving 2ft of snow...not loving it. My daughter on the other hand is living her best life playing is super fluffy snowdrifts!

We kicked off the travel season with an amazing week in Steamboat Resort with Crescent Ski Council ! We could not have asked for better conditions. Big thanks to Steamboat Ski Resort Group Sales , the race department, snow sports school and the staff at Simply Steamboat & Trappeurs Crossing for helping make the trip such a success!
We are so excited for all this season will hold!

It is with a heavy heart that SAT’s Jessica, an avid skier, shares with our clubs the news that her oldest daughter wants to ”ski with one ski where you go sideways” this winter. 😭😂

Her family asks for privacy during this difficult time, unless you are available to provide snowboarding lessons and/or talk some sense into the child.

The 'REAL ID' state license/ID requirement to pass airport security, scheduled to come into effect on May 3 of 2023, has been delayed until May 7, 2025.

That date will mark 20 years since the law was passed and 14 years after original enforcement was intended. But, to be honest, we'll gladly take the reprieve!
