Sometimes wearing clothing made from recycled plastic bottles aren’t enough. Sometimes eating sustainably plant-based isn’t enough. Sometimes it’s the littlest things that remind us that we still have more room to grow... like the littlest micro plastics remind us to continue to reduce our reliance on plastic.
It took less than 5 minutes to fill a cup with micro plastics that washed up on this beach in Hawaii... it felt countless like the sand on the beach. A reminder that it will take countless numbers of us to turn the tides of climate change. A reminder that sometimes we just have to start picking up the pieces instead of waiting...
