In 1904, a prospector was drilling for oil in this area and ended up striking 111 degree water instead. Today’s Rag of the Day is The Trego!! Trego is a small town the sits between Whitefish and Eureka, between Dickey lake and the To***co river. Because of some confusion when the railroad stations where put in, the sign for the town of Trego and the sign for Fortine where placed wrong. When everyone relies that the signs were in the wrong towns, all the maps had already been printed and sent out. Since both towns were miss labeled, and the information from the railroad as already out there, they just swapped the names out the towns. This rag is available in both the 36” or the 44” option. Whitelash has the Gold Butte to the west of town and the East Butte to the east. The East Butte is considered a sacred landmark for native Americans, while Gold Butte had gold mining happening there in 1888. MT Wild Rags is located in the heart of Montana on a working Angus ranch. When we set out on this Wild Rag making journey our goal was simple; to offer to our customers everything that we felt was important in a Wild Rag. All of our Wild Rags are poly-blends chosen specifically for their beauty, feel, durability, washability and best of all their affordability.

We put our Wild Rags to the test daily on the ranch, they are tough enough to withstand a hard days work yet beautiful enough to be worn to town. Our standard size Wild Rag is 36” but we offer custom sizes; everything from Newborn sizes to 50”+! The hems on our Wild Rags are guaranteed for the life of the rag and we offer unparalleled customer service all at affordable prices for the average buckaroo or working cowboy/girl!
