A fresh blanket of snow to welcome a new day. It’s positive 11 degrees out for us this morning and it feels like that of a mini heat wave! The husband and I are off to a Young Agriculture Couples Conference that we were nominated to attend by our local Conservation District. Keeping up the learning while in a profession is so important!! Stay safe and stay warm everyone- remember… you lose a lot of heat in the neck!

My eldest daughter is a cloverbud in 4-H. We absolutely believe in this lifestyle and love our club members!! Yesterday, we did our annual wood cutting. We filled six pickup trucks and delivered to eight different homes!! We took down a massive dead cottonwood tree that had fallen over. Two and a half hours, many parents, two log splitters, three chainsaws, and 12 4-H members later, we were able to deliver all of the wood before sundown! We were so grateful to have such a beautiful day.
