We’re pretty excited about the growth of up-cycling local urban wood over the course of the past year here in Idaho’s Treasure Valley!

Today we toured the new yard & milling facility in Boise. Our friends at Les Bois have been working together with several of our partners, local millers, cities and tree care companies to salvage over 50 trees this year that would otherwise have gone to the landfill or been turned into mulch. At the facility, these logs will be milled, kiln dried and processed so they’re ready for local makers who will build locally sourced, furniture, artwork and more.

Special thank you goes to several local partners who have invested in this work over the last 10+ years since developed the Treasure Valley Urban Wood Network: learn more at LINK IN BIO.
