The devastation unfolding in Southern California right now is truly beyond comprehension. For those of us witnessing from afar, it’s hard to fully grasp the fear, heartbreak, and loss that so many are enduring. My heart aches for the families who have lost heirlooms, photos, personal belongings, and homes—treasures that hold irreplaceable memories. For the communities that have been reduced to ashes, for the livelihoods shattered in an instant, and most heartbreakingly, for the lives lost during this tragedy.

I’ve been blessed with so many cherished memories in Los Angeles (here are just a few snapshots of moments I hold close from my time in LA)—time spent with family, friends, and clients who have made the city feel like a second home to me. To now see so many of those same people evacuating their homes, losing everything, and living in fear day after day is devastating.

This fight is far from over, and the challenges continue to grow. But if there’s one thing I know about Los Angeles and the people I’ve been lucky enough to know there, it’s their resilience. They are strong, determined, and full of heart. This is a major setback, but I have no doubt they will rebuild and rise again—stronger than ever.

Travelers can now apply for the ETA using the UK ETA mobile app or website (link in bio). This new electronic travel authorization is required for visa-free visitors to the UK. The application requires:

- A valid passport
- A digital photo that meets UK passport standards
- Travel details
- A debit or credit card for the £10 fee

While most applications are approved within the same day, the process can actually take up to 72 hours, so officials advise submitting applications a few days before departure to avoid problems. According to , if you haven’t received ETA authorization prior to taking off for the UK, you could be hit with a fine or even denied boarding.
