Having a good work life balance is very important, and activities we do together would be traveling, playing games (video, board, also some made up), and going on bike rides.

Erica began her career in the Financial Industry in 1997 but left in 2000 to finish her degree. In Oct of 2016 she revisited a passion of her a began a career at Flagstar Bank. Erica is the Branch Leader at the Flagstar in Pontiac, MI.

She specializes in providing financial education services, building and maintaining relationships, and contributing positively to the community. She operates with integrity adhering to ethical standards prioritizing client satisfaction by offering tailored financial solutions, excellent service and transparent communications. Working daily toward providing accessible and inclusive financial services to individuals and businesses irrespective of their economic background while fostering the financial wellbeing of each client she serves.

LBN Wayne-Oakland County Evening MEMBER SPOTLIGHT

Today for our Member Spotlight we'd like to recognize Ryan Cohen, with Making Investing Personal.

Ryan is originally from Parma, OH, and graduated from the University of Toledo with a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Information Systems. During college he co-owned and operated a computer and phone repair shop near the university.

In 2015, he started his career in financial services at Sigma Planning Corporation in Ann Arbor, MI. Since that time he has worked with over one hundred advisors to help ensure clients address their needs and pursue their financial goals.

He has a strong background in portfolio construction and investment research, and enjoys helping clients develop comprehensive financial plans. He is of the opinion that “Failing to plan is the same as planning to fail.” It is very satisfying to see clients accomplish their goals and live the lives they worked so hard for! He has come to learn that every client’s situation is unique and it is important to approach each new situation in a personalized manner.

He stays active in the community through volunteering to help those in need whenever he can, and through his membership in the Freemasons.

In his free time he enjoys reading investment research, watching sports, playing fantasy football, and working on various DIY projects around his house.
