Twenty-five stores participated and the judges said they were impressed by the effort and creativity that went into so many of the window displays. The judges voted in three categories: Best Painted Window, Most Creative Window and Most Beautiful Window. The votes have been tallied and the winners are:

Best Painted is Smusht at 154 Main Street
Most Creative is Alper’s Hardware at 81 Main Street
Most Beautiful is S. F. Falconer Florist at 8 S. Maryland Avenue.

This year the public was invited to vote online for their favorite window. My Style Camp at 290 Main Street won the popular vote.

Since it is difficult to capture the window decorations in photos due to glass reflections and limited space, we encourage people to view them in person.

Only two more days to vote for the Best Holiday Window Decorations. Stores throughout Port Washington have gone all out hoping to be voted the winner!

This year the public can cast their vote for their favorites by going to the Chamber of Commerce website, www.pwcoc.org and clicking the link at the top of the home page. Voting ends Thursday, December 12. The winner will be announced at 1PM on Radio PW and will be named on the Chamber website. A list of the contestants is attached.
