For the first time ever, HarborFest is featuring a Saturday evening concert tomorrow at the Sousa Bandshell. "Tiberius" will perform at 6:30.

During this Sunday's HarborFest:

In front of the "Pride of Cow Bay" Tugboat Museum near the entrance to the Town Dock, there is a fantastic lineup of talent:

At the Sousa Bandshell, performances include "Acoustic Color" at 12:00 pm and "Port Jazz Project" at 1:00 pm.

HarborFest is this Sunday, June 2 from 10am-5pm on the Town Dock with a fantastic craft fair on lower Main Street.

There will be terrific entertainment in front of the Tugboat Museum, the Sousa Bandshell, and the Children's Fun Stage.

The Parent Resource Center is managing the Fun Park with games, crafts, and rides for children. Also in the Fun Park is the Children's Fun Stage which will feature children performing with a full day of local Port Washington performing arts studios.

The Art Guild will offer "Art in the Park" in Sunset Park with crafts for kids of all ages.

Ten food vendors and trucks will offer a wide array of delicious food for every taste and beverages will also be available to purchase.

Remember, Shore Road is closed from Jackson Street to Prospect on Sunday from 6am - 7pm. The Town of North Hempstead is providing free bus transportation to the Town Dock from the LIRR Station and Manorhaven Beach Park.

Thanks for last year's overwhelming support for our Adopt a Lamppost program that purchases beautiful decorations for the lampposts along our shopping district.

Congratulations to Hunold Pharmacy & Gifts in Port Washington owners Ricky and Neal Vohora on the grand re-opening of their store. Hunold's has been in Port for over 100 years as a pharmacy, but now also offers gifts and toys.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held yesterday to officially open the renovated store that now also offers a great variety of gifts.

Be sure to visit Art in the Park on Sunday during HarborFest. Not only are many of their artists' beautiful paintings on exhibit (some for sale), but there are classes for children and adults.

This year's Food Court at HarborFest features traditional from LI Festival Catering as well as specialties from Ayhan's Shish Kebab, Ivory Kitchen, Manhasset Bay Sportsman's Club, Margarita's Cafe, Rosie's Grilled Cheese Truck, Waterzooi, Wild Goose and Yummy Gyro.

Ralph's Ices will also be serving up cooling ices in the Food Court, along with Mel's ice cream truck in Sunset Park.

The Chamber of Commerce helped new business Vincent Smith General Store with a ribbon-cutting and grand opening celebration yesterday. This new store, which is located at 189 Main Street offers a variety of merchandise and employees the learning disabled.

Port Washington Florist held a grand opening celebration on Saturday in their new location at 75 Manorhaven Boulevard. The Chamber of Commerce provided the ribbon and huge scissors to cut the ribbon.

After the ribbon-cutting ceremony, everyone was invited to enjoy food and refreshments inside Port Florist's bright and airy new store that of course offers flowers, but also boasts a wide variety of gifts for every occasion.
