Facebook informs me that was International Picnic Day yesterday, so what better way to celebrate than by featuring our “Picnic Perfect” property, By The Way Cottage… with pics coming soon of the new outstanding patio and outdoor seating area put in by Artusa Construction!

I ❤️ it when family comes to stay!! Welcome Christian & Maya to the Lancaster townhouse!

Christian is my youngest brother, and he and his girlfriend (who is originally from Charlotte, NC), are visiting the East Coast in preparation for a relocation from Seattle to the DC area.

So excited to introduce them to our little corner of the Southeast, and help them see what we love about Aiken!

Last time I saw Christian was my quick trip to visit my sister Keva in Guatemala, and it was a wonderful bonus to overlap with his time there as well. I never know where his adventures will take him, and it’s a real treat they are going to stop by my adopted hometown!

Maya I met for the first time last November at our family wedding celebration (me and JJ’s, that is!) Loved getting to know her a little that week, and looking forward to the opportunity to spend a little more time with them both.
