Congratulations to the Roberts family! On 6/27/2022 they hiked up Pikes Peak with - and they absolutely crushed it making quick work of the Crags Trail in 5:45:00

It’s National Trails Day!! This is a day of service to work on the trails we love. You can likely find an event locally that will allow you to improve a trail or open space.

Yesterday we took a stroll up Pulpit Rock. Which has become a bit of a sketchy hike as the seasons come and go.

We encountered a lovely couple of people that were concerned with the descending trail so we showed them a second route. Make sure you are ready for these trails if you go out there!!

Hike for Life Extends suspension of in-person events to 15 May

Hike for Life's CEO (Chief Exploration Officer) announces the extended suspension of in-person events until 15 May and describes on-line activities planned to help the community over the coming weeks.

Hike for Life recommends using a #footfive for greetings. This is more in line with #socialdistancing guidelines and warms you up for hiking!

If you look closely you’ll see even the 🦌 in Garden of the Gods are practicing social distancing. Stay healthy and enjoy our great outdoors. #hikeforlife #optoutside

Hike for Life exists to nurture community spirit, inspire exploration and preserve our great outdoors.

We do this in part by providing carefully curated guided day hikes in the Pikes Peak region. Our hikes range from 1 hour to a full day summit of Pikes Peak.

Hike for Life provides visitors and residents of all ages and abilities guided hikes on front range trails. Our hikes are designed to be educationally enhanced, environmentally aware and safety conscious. We believe that teaching and helping others explore safely and with an emphasis on stewardship strengthens our community and helps protect our limited natural resources.

We also work to provide free content on multiple social media channels that helps inform and educate everyone about responsible outdoor recreation.
