In honor of National Use Your Gift Card Day, here are some frequently asked questions I get about Disney gift cards!

💳 Can Disney gift cards be linked to MagicBands?
No they can’t - MagicBands charge back to the room, to the credit card you have on file. What you can do is go to the front desk and pay down your room charge balance using Disney gift cards!

💳 Can I pay for my trip using Disney gift cards?
Yes you can! You can pay your deposit, make payments, and pay your final deposit all with gift cards! Combine your cards onto one card, up to $1000, on disneygiftcard.com, then send me the info! Just be sure to hang on the the gift cards, because in the event of cancelation, the refunds will go back onto the cards you use.

💳 Can I use Disney gift cards in the parks?
Yes you can! Souvenirs, food, anything you’d like to pay for. They’re also a great way to allot kids a specific amount of spending money.

💳 Can I save money using Disney gift cards?
If you have a Target red card, yes you can! You can purchase Disney gift cards with the red card 5% discount, then use them to pay for your trip as described above. For a $4000 Vacation, you’d save $200! You can also buy Disney gift cards at a discount at Sam’s Club.

Another tip I’ve given people planning a Disney trip a year or more in advance, is when family & friends ask for gift ideas for you or your kids’ birthdays or Christmas, suggest Disney gift cards - they’ll add up!

🍽️Did you know an amazing advantage of staying onsite at a Disney resort is the option to include a Dining Plan in your vacation package?!

🍔The dining plan allots a set number of credits that may be redeemed for snacks, quick service meals, or
table service meals. These credits are stored on your MagicBand, and the receipt provided after redeeming the credits indicate how many credits remain. This information is also available in your My Disney Experience app!

🍟Your dining credits become active on check in and don’t expire until midnight on check out day. Tax is always included, but guests pay for tips out of pocket for their sit down meals.
