Going through my clothes, found $500 pesos I stashed in these shorts I wear under dresses and stuff!
Good travel tip: stash yo stuff EVERYWHERE! 😂
No worries. I’m sure I’ll have an opportunity to spend the pesos sometime within the next year.

I just came across my favorite flip flops. Oh, if these shoes could talk! Just 1 of many insteresting outtings in these shoes happened this past May.

First solo Yucatán trip, other than cruises. Just got in the night before, so I hadn’t left my room much yet.

While a sitting on those hostel steps around 8 AM, on a week day, a chunk of human flew out of a car and grazed (and bloodied a little) the top of this flip flop as I enjoyed the day’s first cigarette in the tropical, beach town, Playa Del Carmen. I frayed the top while cleaning/scrubbing, super careful not to touch anywhere’s near the blood spot.
At the time, I just thought, “Bienvenido a México” 😂
Knowing what I know now, I highly discourage anyone from staying at this chain. They’ve got a downright evil reputation that they’ve worked hard to earn and maintain.

True story.
