On April 02, 2021, the CDC released updated travel recommendations for international travelers who have been fully vaccinated. Not much has changed.
Please refer to the FAQs for Air Travel Requirements for International Travel, that is what you should be paying attention to, if you want to travel outside of the country. Individuals who have been fully vaccinated are still required to have a negative COVID-19 test 72-hours prior to returning to the U.S.

These include two changes from its previous recommendations.
1) First, it is no longer recommended that vaccinated international travelers be tested 1-3 days before leaving the country. Unless the country requires it, which many do.
2) Second, it is no longer recommended that they self-quarantine after travel.
IMPORTANT TIP:
Check the Tourism Boards Website, for the destination you are traveling to, to stay up to date with the requirements. Each Country has their own entry requirements.
The below are U.S. recommendations and not requirements (people are getting the two confused):
* re-tested 3-5 days after their return*
**As always; self-monitor for symptoms, wear a mask when required, and take precautions during travel.
Please note that individuals are considered fully vaccinated two weeks after their second dose in a two-dose series (ex., the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines), or two weeks after a single-dose vaccine (ex., the Johnson & Johnson vaccine).
