We FINALLY went on our Royal Caribbean Alaska Cruisetour! This was originally planned in June of 2020 but… Well, let’s not go there;) We did the 3 night pre-tour (land first) then a seven night southbound cruise and it did not disappoint! Our group of ten had an amazing time in the wide open breathtaking spaces. I have so much insight into shore excursions, hotels, restaurants and more. Who wants to hear about Virgin Voyages?? I had the opportunity to sail on Virgin’s Scarlet Lady in December and she did not disappoint!
The ship was beautiful. I had a central sea terrace cabin and could have stayed in the hammock on my balcony for hours! The included restaurants were awesome. The entertainment was amazing! Did I mention it’s adults only??!!
The crew goes above and beyond to make your cruise special. Just a couple of examples - the soft cozy throw on the bed with a note that it is freshly laundered and my carafe of water that was refilled without fail.

We just returned from another “excellent” stay at Excellence Oyster Bay in Jamaica! The vibe is relaxed compared to Excellence Playa Mujeres in Mexico. The food was very good especially the Jerk Chicken! The resort was beautiful and quiet for the most part with many different pools and beach areas to choose. We loved the ocean views from our suite and from the main pool deck. Also, the rooftop infinity pool was a great spot! We used Club Mobay at the airport to get us through customs and show us to our private lounge where we waited for our transfer to the hotel. It wasn’t too busy when we arrived so it probably wasn’t a necessity but it was great having someone to guide us through the airport for our first trip. Our friends arrived an hour after us and said that they would have been in line for over an hour if they hadn’t had Club Mobay. Excellence is an awesome all-inclusive brand that we love and visit often. If you would like more information, please call me and we can get your next stay on the books!

Hey everybody! We just returned from a wonderful Greek Island cruise with pre and post stays in Athens and Barcelona. It was our first Princess cruise and Princess was wonderful. The ship was Enchanted Princess and both the ship and staff exceeded our expectations. We have cruised a lot in the Caribbean but this was our first trip to Europe-we’re already planning to go back 😊 We got to Athens a couple of days before the cruise. Our hotel, the Herodion, was in a great location-near so many street cafes and right next to the Acropolis museum. We could see the Parthenon from our rooftop. We made the climb to the Parthenon and it was amazing! We also booked a private tour of Corinth - walking in the footsteps of Paul. That was a great tour and our driver was so interesting.
Our cruise took us to Santorini and Corfu, Greece/Kotor, Montenegro/ Messina(Sicily), Italy and dropped us off in Barcelona where we stayed an extra three days. We loved Barcelona! Our first hotel, Hotel Continental Barcelona, was right on La Rambla and we had a balcony looking out onto the busy street. It was perfect for walking around and taking in the city. We did a guided tour of Sagrada Familia with access to the tower-this was a great way to see it!
For our last night we stayed at a beautiful beach resort, W Barcelona for a relaxing beach day and night before our flight home. Let me know if this sounds like a trip you would like to take and I’ll help you make it happen!

Last month, I had the opportunity to plan an accessible Atlanta Braves Trip. The Braves organization did an incredible job from start to finish! Their accessible team was quick to respond to my every question and made this a very easy process. They went over seating options with me and even offered to send me pictures of the views from different sections. The accessible parking lot was very close and easy to find. Once at the field, we were directed to our seats where a Braves employee stood throughout the game to make sure that people didn’t crowd in behind us and block us from getting out for food and drinks. Any request that we had, they tried to find a way to help. I really just can’t say enough! We stayed at the Embassy Suites Galleria. The accessible rooms there have a nice layout with different choices to meet your specific needs. The room that my family booked had a roll-in shower that was very nice. The managers reception and breakfast area were both easily accessible too. If you want to go to a Braves game and you need accessible seating and hotel rooms, please call me. Good morning! I want to share my most recent vacation. Just a few weeks ago, I took a trip to Amelia Island. What a fun little city! I booked the Omni and actually stayed in two different room types so that I can give guidance to anyone considering this resort. The Omni has a lot to offer. Lunch at the poolside grill overlooking the beach was amazing. Also, just a short walk (or complimentary shuttle ride) away is an area with lots of shops and restaurants ranging from nicer dining to a fun pizza joint with surfboards for tables! I ventured off of the resort for some really good meals at Sliders and The Salty Pelican too. The evening vibe in downtown Amelia was fantastic! Hello friends! Just a quick post to let y’all know that I have been taking classes online. I earned a certificate in accessible cruise travel from Cruise Lines International Association. Cruising is one of the most inclusive forms of travel and I am really excited to be better able to help everyone make their vacation dreams come true! Many of the cruise lines have incorporated helpful extras into their cabins for people with limited mobility. One of the extras that is particularly nice is an auto opening cabin door. Additionally, Royal Caribbean is implementing programs and training employees to better help families who have children, teens or adults with Autism.
