Travel Tip Tuesday (Claire’s Version)

If you’ve been a follower, you know I absolutely love Disney Cruise Line and the vacations we’ve had. Here are my essentials for cruising!

🤍 Lanyard - this makes it easy to keep up with your keycard that you’ll need to enter your room, leave and re-board the ship, and charge to your room

🤍 MagicBand+ - there are so many interactive options onboard during shows, we only wear them at night during shows

🤍 Rainforest Pass - I love the Rainforest Room on every ship and this is my favorite “splurge” for every sailing to find some me time daily

🤍 Portable phone charger - I love being disconnected from the outside world. While I buy the internet package, I only connect to post and check in with clients. I still use my phone for photos, checking the DCL Navigator for daily activities and more

🤍 Photo Package - just like I love MemoryMaker at WDW and Lightning Lane Multipass with PhotoPass at DL, a cruise photo package is a necessity. We have so many great photos as a family or with characters. Bonus - instead of an autograph book we have a photo mat we get the characters to sign then frame it with a photo from our trip

🤍 Reusable Bottle - self-serve soft drinks and filtered water are included with cruise fare. Disney Cruise Line offers smaller cups for these drinks on the pool deck. I use that to fill up my own bottle that’s insulated and I don’t have to make trips back and forth

🤍 Really good sunscreen - I love a good reef safe sunscreen, even when cruising in the winter. We try to spend a good amount of time in the shade but we are definitely exposed to the sun a lot more than in our everyday life

I cannot wait to follow along and learn everything I can about this ship until I can experience it myself.

The Disney Treasure will sail a 7-night Eastern or Western Caribbean sailing out of Port Canaveral.

Happy birthday to the man that started it all, Walt Disney. His first animation company went bankrupt. He was fired for lacking imagination. His financing for Walt Disney World was turned down - many times. He was an animator, father, industry pioneer, and so much more. What would the entertainment industry look like if he stopped when told no? Happy birthday Mr. Disney! Thank you for the many memories I’ve shared with my family, friends, and clients because of your life’s work.
