Come try whitewater with us this summer!
There are still several openings for Whitecap Kayak lessons at the Whitewater Park during releases this summer! Sign-ups are available on the website. These lessons are a great way to improve your basic river running skills and help you get more comfortable on the water.
There are also spots available for the Jackson Kayak Freestyle Clinic in August. Book your spot today!

We are excited to be opening up one of our guide cabins to winter stays! Reserve on your favorite booking platform.
Your own personal cottage in the forest at Whitecap Kayak Learning Center, a base camp for local kayak guiding and instruction. During the kayak season, our guides stay here. In the off season, we can share it with new friends.
You will find a cozy and warm spot in the forest. Expect a small walk to the bathrooms, showers, and running water. You can snowshoe around the property, ski at many local trails or Mt Ashwabay, and enjoy life in the beautiful Washburn and Bayfield area

Hermit Island Circumnavigation! The Excelsior Brownstone Quarry was operational on the island from 1891 - 1897. These blocks were bound for Chicago but never made it off the island due to financial and logistical hurdles.
