Alaska Icefield Expeditions, Inc. Fly up & enjoy Dog Mushing this summer in Juneau on Mendenhall, Herbert, & Norris Glacier!

Accessible only by helicopter, excursions include a combined 25-30 minutes of scenic flight time on the way to and from our glacier dog camps. Once in camp, you'll experience the musher way of life and meet the true athletes, the dogs, of Alaska's official state sport. After a 30 minute crash course in mushing, you'll take to the sled for 25-30 minutes of mushing beneath the awe inspiring backdrop of the Juneau Ice Field.

Morning coffee be like!

“Fun runs” are just as much a part of training as long runs if not more important. So after a couple days off we yesterday, today, and tomorrow take the team out for just 10 miles each day. Keeping them fresh, stretch out, metabolism high, energy high, and most of all ready for more! Then very soon, we hit the trails camping again!
