Have you taken a stroll to see the sculptures at the RB&W District Park lately?
Download the Otocast app on your phone and as you walk around to see the sculptures, why not learn about them and the artist who made them. Very informative!
Also notice the Rock Falls Tourism Sponsors named on the plaques who sponsor these sculptures.
The RB&W District Park is open all year long and welcomes you to walk around and even have a seat and take in the art and enjoy the Rock River. The park is accessible to persons with disabilities. Dogs on leashes are welcome.

There is so much to see on Parker!

As we celebrate Art Month, we asked our staff to share some of their favorite public art pieces displayed throughout town.

Deputy Cultural Director Denise Zoglmann said her favorite is The Dance by Lee Proctor, a public favorite of the 2014-15 Art Encounters Exhibit that was purchased by Town Council in May 2015.

“I loved it as soon as it was installed—the way the light comes through the feathers is so pretty. Parks did a great job with the landscaping around The Dance as well as the lighting.”

We invite you to check out The Dance, located outside The Schoolhouse, along with our other public installments by picking up an Art Walk map brochures at The Schoolhouse and PACE Center. You can also download the free Otocast app to learn about the artists with narrated audio guides. Learn more: https://parkerarts.org/art-gallery-exhibits/public-art/
