We had another fun day on Saturday with a visit to Kensington Palace Gardens and Pavilion for a lovely afternoon tea.🫖☕️
I especially enjoyed the Palace Earl Grey and Jasmine Pearl green tea, along with the festive sweets - a yummy fruitcake finger and mango tree cake, scones and delicious finger sandwiches.

Roll into the holiday season with these festive Cranberry Feta Pinwheels - a taste of joy in every bite! This is a great make-ahead appetizer and can be refrigerated for a couple of days.

Cranberry Feta Pinwheels
• 1 brick (250g) cream cheese, softened
• ½ cup feta cheese, crumbled
• ½ cup green onion, chopped
• 1 pkg. dried sweetened cranberries
• ½ - ¾ jar Pineapple Jalapeno Jelly
• 4-5 spinach tortilla wraps

Combine first 5 ingredients, mix well. Divide and spread cream cheese mixture evenly on tortilla wraps; roll tightly. Wrap in clear plastic wrap and refrigerate for a least one hour. To serve, cut into pinwheels. Makes about 12 Pinwheels per wrap.

Good Monday Morning!
I'm enjoying Fortnum & Masons Christmas Black Tea, a smooth and festive blend of spices, clementine and a hint of cocoa nibs. It's delicious on its own or with a bit of honey. I don't enjoy this particular blend with milk as it's so smooth and I don't typically use a lot of milk in my tea anyway. I guess depends on your tastes.
I'm excited to visit Fortnum's once again next week when I'm in London and to say I'm excited is an understatement. I can't wait to see this institution at the holidays!!

I've been lucky to spot several of these beautiful birds in my yard and on walks. Cardinals can represent a lot of things. Some of the more popular meanings are romance, confidence, new beginnings, strength, good fortune, a loved one saying hello, determination, and happiness. I'm thrilled to see them as I've always believed a loved one in heaven is popping by.❤️

Looking for a healthy seasonal cake or dessert? I served this gluten-free, sugar-free Pumpkin Spice Loaf Cake drizzled with Caramel Cream Cheese and sprinkled with chopped toasted pecans at a recent tea I had and it was a hit!
Perfect for a holiday celebration and a healthy alternative to typical sugar loaded desserts, this recipe is based on a bundt cake recipe that I switched up with a different pan. I used some of the leftover batter to make muffins as this makes a large cake. I made the batter as directed, but used 3 whole eggs and 1 egg white. If you follow a low carb or keto diet, you can have your tea cake and it it too!

Hot Spiced Tea Cider - Yes, Please!☕️🍊🫖🍎

The Nov/Dec issue of TeaTime magazine featured one of our customer favorites - Apple Cranberry, Organic - a delicious herbal tea to enjoy all year round. Try this recipe to warm you up this holiday season!

Hot Spiced Tea Cider

1-quart apple cider
4 cups Apple Cranberry organic herbal tea
1 orange cut into wedges and stud with 12 whole cloves
4 cinnamon sticks
Extra orange wedges and cinnamon sticks for garnishing
Bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Take off heat and add 4 Tbsp loose leaf spiced black tea and steep for 5 minutes. Strain and add the steeped tea to a large stock pot. Add 1-quart apple cider. Add clove studded oranges and cinnamon sticks. Simmer for 20 minutes. If you are going to serve right away put in a vacuum beverage server or serve from the stock pot and leave on the burner on a very low flame.
Mugs may be garnished with wedges of orange and cinnamon sticks. For the tea, I used a blend of Assam tea with orange peel, cinnamon pieces & ginger root with orange spice flavoring. A holiday spiced tea or masala chai would work.
