Time to see St Lucia! We opted for the full island experience with Hot Chocolate Tours. The day was long but worth it (7:30AM - 5PM). Our tour guide lived up to her name - Sweet Chocolate. She was the best!!! Here are the stops on our tour:

*Viewing spot for Marigot Bay - filming location for the original Dr. Doolittle and Pirates of the Caribbean 3.

*Banana Plantation - sampled banana ketchup and banana bbq sauce.

*Viewing spot for the Pitons - most people think of the Pitons when they picture St. Lucia.

*Mud baths - these sulfur springs are known to heal inflammation, bug bites, and make your skin look and feel younger.

*Waterfall - a short hike through the rainforest to this beautiful spot.

*Local lunch made by “mama” with views of the Pitons.

*Chocolate Factory - everything is made right there with no preservatives. Delicious samples!

*Rum Distillery - sample a variety of rums and rum creams.

This was the perfect tour to see all the island of St Lucia has to offer. It was also a great break from resort site inspections and classroom training. We enjoyed the downtime!

It’s resort tour day in St.Lucia, and it’s a hot one at 90 degrees! First up is Sandals Halcyon Beach Resort. This resort gives off major romantic vibes. It would be a great spot for a couple looking to spend quality time together.

The meandering pool is like a long lazy river through one side of the resort. There is a quieter pool and also a more active pool.

There are six restaurants, 7 bars, and plenty of water activities like scuba diving and snorkeling.

Each room category has something interesting to offer. Check out the one with the beachfront plunge pool or the upper level with that massive balcony that has a direct view of the water!
