I've owned the domain name CentralAdirondackTrail.com for 22 years and I just realized instead of redirecting to https://www.nyroute28.com/ it was redirecting to a blank page. So I just fixed that issue. But the worse think is that I never once traced Central Adirondack Trail to its eastern terminus at the Glens Falls City line by the US 9 Coopers Cave Bridge over the Hudson. Well today I was mucking around Glens Falls and located these two start and end signs and photographed them.

The Story of NY Route 28

I started NYRoute28.com, or CentralAdirondackTrail.com back in the winter of 2003 after I started NYRoute30.com. I wanted an east west scenic byway route to go with NY 30, which is a north south road aka The Adirondack Trail. In 2014 I added the Catskill Mountain Park division to complete the southern end of NY 28 in Kingston to Margaretville through the Catskill Mountain Preserve.
