The recent hurricane did cause some erosion along the Riviera Maya’s beaches, affecting several resorts. Fortunately, many of these resorts are diligent about beach maintenance and quickly clean up any seaweed or sargassum to ensure a pleasant experience for their guests. It’s part of what keeps the area attractive and welcoming.

When you fly business class on KLM, they gift you this year’s miniature Delft Blue house, filled with Dutch gin. These unique gifts have been around since the 1950’s and are a collectors item for many. I happened to be on a VERY long layover in Amsterdam this week and visited the KLM lounge where they have the cute houses lined up the escalators.
The staff at the KLM crown lounge 52 were phenomenal and the seating/food/views were fantastic. Highly recommend if you find yourself in AMS.

I highly recommend the Sphere experience in Las Vegas. The postcard from earth production was amazing. The robots in the atrium were a bit creepy, but also very interesting!

Seaweed/sargassum is never preferred but can happen. It is the “sea” after all. Resorts do their best to clean it up and/or have a barrier to keep it away from the swimming areas. This tractor passes through to pick it up periodically if needed. Typically this is more common in the summer months vs the winter, and changes daily. Dreams Resorts & Spas
