Today is a big day! Today is the day we board the Viking Freyl and set sail up the Rhine to Amsterdam!
But before we do, I would be remiss if I did not mention the fact that while you may have heard me say, a million times, that I am 96 % Irish.☘️ While that is partially true, I am also Swiss! 🧀 Maybe this is why I love my cheese! My Moms family hates from the Canton of Bern, Switzerland. 🇨🇭 I have not visited Bern for 30 years but I do plan to come back to this beautiful country soon and possibly look for my relatives. Switzerland, you are expensive but will always hold a specplace in my ❤️. Thank you for a wonderful 2 days. We will be back!

APRIL 2-9, 2025🍀 Join us in Ireland on a very special journey.

Irish bluebells flower in tandem for a few weeks between April and June. These stunning purple-blue flowers grow in broad-leaf forests where they can get a mixture of sun and shade. Too much of one or other is not compatible with bluebell blooms.

In April and May, the trees are sprouting new leaves but the thick, green canopy of leaves doesn’t arrive fully until June, making early spring April to early June the sweet spot to enjoy these stunning flowers while they are in bloom.

Looking forward to seeing all that is in bloom at the Powerscourt House and Gardens in County Wicklow next spring. Please join us on a very special journey through Ireland. We will visit some of my favorite places.
