I have been traveling since I was very young, my first plane ride was at 3 years old. Oftentimes, it was just my parents, brother, and myself. But there were times when my grandparents came along with us as well.
We all enjoyed learning about the destinations that we visited, and ironically enough, we even learned a lot about each other during these vacations. I am so glad that I had the opportunity to travel as a child, because it was during that time that I discovered my love of travel. I also found that it was helpful and necessary to disconnect from the normal day to day events of life and simply focus on the people that I was with.
Once I became an adult, I continued with my love of travel as I jetted off to new destinations with my friends and then eventually my husband. Nowadays, we take our children with us, so that we can share our love of the world with them.
I am lucky, because I was able to recognize that I could take my love of travel and turn it into a profession where I could help others learn how wonderful it is to bond with the family and friends that they love the most. I decided to get my education in travel and hospitality, set up my home office, and began my business. I consider myself a family/romance travel specialist. Connecting people is my specialty. I can identify with families, whether it is a couple, a couple with children, or multiple generations traveling together.
I love that I can recognize the different life cycles of families and create the perfect vacation for them at that moment. I have helped couples start their marriage with an amazing honeymoon and sent a family with children to Disney World. I have even helped parents take a vacation for a little alone time away from their children and sent empty nesters on a cruise to celebrate the next stage in their life.
I am a firm believer that everyone must travel during their lifetime and I am always amazed at how fulfilled I feel whenever I set up an adventure for one of my clients.
I know that planning a vacation can be quite stressful and that many people would rather forgo their dream vacation than deal with the headaches. That is why I will take over the planning stage for everyone, so that they can simply sit back and relax until it is time for them to leave.
