Have you ever tossed a coin in a wishing well and made a wish? I have~ at Walt Disney World!
Disney World has various wishing wells throughout the parks. The most notable wishing wells include the wishing well by Cinderella Castle, the it's a small world moat, Expedition Everest’s wishing temple, and Disney Springs’ man-made water areas.
When you wish on a wishing well at Disney, you’re actually contributing to a great cause! Wished coins are collected and donated to a nonprofit organization, making others’ wishes come true. ✨

Have you ever noticed the collection of hair ties at the top of Expedition Everest at Disney? Did you know Blizzard Beach has a spot where guests toss their hair ties too?
My daughter excitedly spotted it at the highest point of the Chair Lift.
I love all the little things about Disney like this. I don’t know the reason behind this hair tie tradition, but I point it out every time I ride!

I booked a family of 6 last minute, and before I even got the chance to send the new Lightning Lane instructions, I got this text from my client! *photo below*
Here was the cost breakdown:
Magic Kingdom Lightning Lane pass for August 8th: Total cost for 6 people was $172.56. Lightning Lanes selected were Big Thunder Mountain, Pirates of The Caribbean, Haunted Mansion.
Hollywood Studios Lightning Lane Pass for August 4: Total cost for 6 people was $153.36. Lightning Lane selections were Millenium Falcon, Toy Story Mania, Alien Swirling Saucers.
They chose not to purchase the Lightning Lane pass for their other park days at this time, but may add it later.
This tells me the new system is user friendly and if these first timers who do not consider themselves tech savvy can do it, you can too!

While at Universal, don’t forget to try the famous WHO HASH, while in Dr Seuss Land!
Who Hash is a mix of tator tots, green peppers, onions, corned beef and white cheddar served in a Who Hash can.
Another fan fave is the Green Eggs & Ham Tator Tots, with green eggs, ham and white cheddar.
This little spot is like your childhood dreams come true! 😆

Say hey to the nostalgic Disneyland Hotel in California where rooms pay tribute to a classic era at Disneyland Park.
When you stay at Disneyland Resort hotels you’ll enjoy 30 minutes Early Entry to the parks on select days as well as convenient access to Downtown Disney and the theme parks.
At Disneyland Hotel you’ll want to make sure to cool off at the pool which hosts two towering monorail themed water slides that are icons of the hotel.
Pro Tip: a stay here is never complete without a stop by Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar inspired by the world famous Jungle Cruise.

✨Wrote a thank you note to a family who sent me a gift card.
✨ Added Halloween Horror Night tickets to a package.
✨ Tweeked dining reservations for a group of 14 traveling together.
Eeeek so many fun trips coming up for my clients and I LOVE working with each and every one of you!!

Fun fact: Did you know that there are no straight lines in Seuss Landing? Even the trees were brought in from a hurricane Andrew-stricken south Florida, making them as twisted as the rest of this island!!

I learned this fun (and scary) fact from
our Safari Driver at Animal Kingdom park years ago.
Here are a few more interesting facts about the lions who live at the most magical place on earth!
Disney Conservation:
The Walt Disney Company is passionately committed to the protection of lions and their natural habitats.
Threats to African Lions:
Lions are territorial animals. The hunting grounds for a pride of lions are typically 8 square miles (20 km2). But their domain is shrinking. Habitat loss created by droughts, soil erosion, overgrazing and human expansion is causing lion populations in the wild to decline in alarming numbers.
Livestock Conflicts:
As human populations grow in Africa, people push farther into lion country. For many, livestock is their livelihood, their source of food and money. Losing a single goat or cow to a lion attack can be devastating to a family. As a result, people often kill lions to protect their livestock.
Preserving African Habitats:
Our conservation efforts are helping to protect and preserve lions in their natural habitats and across the globe. Since 1995, the Disney Conservation Fund has helped advance lion conservation efforts in 8 countries.
Reducing Conflicts:
Disney’s support has helped reduce lion attacks on livestock in Tanzania, expanded education for students in Uganda and taught students about lions in Kenya. It has also helped to encourage sustainable tourism enterprises.
Protect the Pride:
In celebration of the 2019 release of Disney’s The Lion King, the groundbreaking feature film helmed by Jon Favreau, The Walt Disney Company launched a global conservation campaign to raise awareness and support for the dwindling lion population across Africa. The Lion King “Protect the Pride” campaign focuses on protecting and revitalizing the lion population, which dropped by half in just 25 years due to a variety of threats including poaching and destruction of habitats.

Don’t want to spend $300 on a Light Saber build? At Tatooine Traders there is no reservation required and a they’re fraction of the cost.
Yes they’re plastic here, but your kiddos can still channel their inner Jedi with a Light Saber battle!

Florida Resident Universal ticket!
$199 + tax for a single 2 park ticket that can be used now through December 18, 2024 at Universal and Islands of Adventure.
You can visit the parks as MANY TIMES AS YOU’D LIKE with this ticket.
Cannot be purchased at the gate. Purchase through me (duh). 😉

This week we celebrate the Happiest Place on Earth’s 69th Birthday! ✨✨
Did you know the opening day of did not go according to plan?
More people than expected showed up causing them to run out of food, rides broke down and there was even a gas leak in Fantasyland that led to closing half the park…. But Walt did not give up!
Disneyland has changed a great deal over the past 69 years, but many of the attractions that were operating on opening day are still there today!✨

Hold on tight and prepare for a magical queue adventure at Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure!
As you wait to embark on the best coaster, keep your eyes peeled for a ton of fun surprises in the queue (it's one of my favorite queues!).
My favorite thing to spot is the golden egg from the Triwizard Tournament. The golden egg isn't sitting out among all of the other eggs to easily spot. It's hidden inside an unsuspecting dark green cabinet. Unless you're close, you probably won't even notice it.

Disney World re opened the last of its 4 parks this week after being shut down due to the pandemic, and my family and I spent 10 days there.
Being there in the moment, I knew standing on an empty Main Street USA was a once in a lifetime experience (that I hope to never see again).
No lines, no crowds, no guests from outside the US, only smiles through eyes because smiles were covered with masks.
Never thought I would say this, but oftentimes being in a crowded and busy Disney park now I can’t help but feel a huge sense of thankfulness and peace. 🙏🏼
These photos still take me back to a time I wouldn’t believe unless I saw it with my own eyes!

According to USA Today, custodians from Disney parks are called to clean up ashes guests have spread of their loved ones, at least once a month.
Top rides guests have been caught spreading ashes at Disney:
It’s a Small World
Pirates of the Caribbean
Haunted Mansion
This is a biohazard and results in the entire attraction being shut down, and an intensive level of cleanup with special equipment.
Although it sounds like a lovely gesture to spread your loved ones ashes in a place they felt most happiest, you’ll be removed from the park and possibly even banned. 😱
