Water Emergency Response Spill Drill at Finn Rock Landing on October 16th.

The Finn Rock Boat Landing will temporarily close on Wednesday, October 16th, for an inter-agency emergency response spill drill. These drills help prepare personnel to respond rapidly to potential threats to water quality in the case of a contamination spill. During the drill, partners will work to deploy a solid containment boom across the river.

Boaters are advised to choose alternate put-in and take-off routes during the drill. To learn more about the McKenzie Watershed Emergency Response System, visit EWEB’s Information page by clicking here.

Explains the McKenzie Watershed Emergency Response System that helps emergency personnel respond to spills or other emergencies that could threaten the McKenzie River's water quality.
