Truly, this family has had such a tremendous impact on Staples in the 8 short years they have officially been a part of our community.

Our hearts are heavy for the Ives family. Mike is so appreciated and will truly be missed.

What earth has lost, heaven has gained.

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Michael J. Ives of Grand Rapids, MN. Mike was a devoted husband, father, and friend to many. He loved snowmobiling, riding motorcycles and was an avid fisherman. He was a mentor to many, a leader in the community, a good listener, a loving father, and compassionate to all. Mike was always full of laughs and jokes and had a positive attitude toward everything. His presence will be deeply missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Ives family.
