Soon they will be out there in the big world, doing all the things, experiencing so many moments all on their own. That knowledge makes these moments even more precious.
I love that they will be exploring and growing on their own soon, but the fleeting moments together…I wouldn’t trade them for anything.

One of my favorite places to think is in a garden, preferably my garden.
New farm.
New garden.
New thoughts.
New season of life.
New ways to travel.
for me, travel has always been a way of living rather than a specific activity done a couple times a year. My preferred way of Traveling is not quite “going to,” it is more accurately “going in.” It’s more deep that a photo stop on a busy itinerary (even though those photo stops can hold a lot of beauty.) Traveling is digging in to a place, connecting, getting some dirt on you, either figuratively or literally. It’s looking deeper with more than just your eyes, it’s feeling with your heart and soul.
So, today I’m Traveling in my own Place and getting to know the ground I live and walk on. If I pay attention, I know I’ll come away with a better understanding.
