Well today my heart both broke and cried for joy, all at the same time. Taco has found his couple, to spend the best part of his life with. I've had him for sale, for 3 years now. The right fit never happened, until today.
When I spoke with them on the phone, I knew right away, I wanted them to be his people.
They did not disappoint in person.
He showed all his quirks, quite openly, and yet, still they fell in love.
This was one of the hardest decisions I've ever had to make.
Moral to the story. Let go of what your ego says you need to do and open your heart for what best serves those you love. You aren't always the answer, however, you can be the facilitator to a beautiful journey.
I will post a picture of his new family, once I have their permission. I am so happy for this fit, and for Taco's happy future.
No doubt, this is going to be a happy future for my boy. 💔💞

Happy Spring. First day this week that felt like it. All of us are happy to get back to outside play. Although, I bet my cat is really just waiting for a bird. They seem to be outsmarting him this year... Good for them.

It is with a heavy heart that I am selling my horse friend Taco.
After much thought, I have decided, he deserves a person all his own. He is a bit quirky(in mostly good ways), yet not really psyched about being the horse to take around all the riders, that I need him to. He does it, and is mostly cooperative, although, I believe his heart wants a special someone that he can express his uniqueness with.
I am going to be very particular about who buys him. I am offering an option to in barn lease with option to buy, as well. More pics are here if you click on videos or scroll down my page. . Please call Kim @ 603-520-2107 or PM me on FB. He is a 12 years old gelding. 15.2/3 ish. Tobiano paint. English and western, and has jumped cross rails. Great on trails. I will tell all, and wont let him go, unless he loves you. Not a school horse. He might do it. But wont be happy about it.

I was blessed with some alone time with my granddaughter for two days and an overnight. She has asked me to teach her about the horses and how to ride. Watching her timid yet powerfully determined personality come to life around my horses made my heart sing.
Teaching balance and feel, how to read the horses eyes and body language, is such a crucial life empowering lesson. I had so much fun showing her her own personal strength. She was queen of her fear demons!! So proud!!
