It was not only a crazy busy week with my Guests…but! I got all of my personal 2025 travel booked! It’s gonna be another great year of Disney World (obviously. Hoping to check off my very last Disney Resort I need to stay at!), Disneyland (haven’t been since 2021), National Parks (Yellowstone & Grand Tetons!), MLB stadiums, and of course, Universal Orlando! We are booked for the grand opening of the brand new resort hotel: Stella Nova.
Absolutely cannot wait! 😎😎

This is so cool! A great activity to do on a rest day. It takes you to all the skyliner resorts, which are 7 in total. A fun way to explore each resort! 💯😎

SO many amazing phone convos this week so far with Guests regarding ALL the things from dining options to itinerary suggestions to Lightning Lanes to final prep to everything in between, even costumes for the Halloween Party down to some very advanced planning pro tips! (The more research you do, the more in depth we can get! My best advice: read every word in every email I send! You will get about ten informative emails and guides from me from start to finish. Every single one is important. I give you the foundation and from there you can ask questions and we can get planning, together!)

🚨🚨Money saving & budget friendly trip tips from someone who travels often🚨🚨
Disney World does NOT have to break the bank!!
I get asked often,”How do you afford to go so much??” Well, I’ll tell you!! Sometimes it’s strictly for work where a good majority is paid for…sometimes I split the cost with someone else…and sometimes we stay at Value Resorts! Don’t get me wrong, sometimes we stay Deluxe and even 2 bedroom villas, which in that case, yes, it will be expensive…but I ONLY book my personal trips with a discount or promotion. Most times of year there is a promo through Disney that we can book (just need to secure your dates early to assure pricing and availability)…also Disney Visa and Disney Plus promos! Sometimes there is a FREE dining offer as well as that really cool dining gift card promo where you stay a certain amount of nights and get $200 in dining gift cards per night.
This last trip was one of the most budget friendly trips we have ever taken. And you can, too! 😱😱
Flights: $370 roundtrip direct nonstop Milwaukee to Orlando for two (I booked these during Southwest’s 50% off birthday sale in June.)
Resort: 35% off Annual Pass discount at Disney’s Pop Century Resort. $726 for 4 nights! (There was a regular promo available for all Guests as well!) We booked a standard room instead of preferred as my new Resort thing is loving locations farther away and in the back for best chance at quiet! And we were NOT disappointed. Our room in the 50s section was not tremendously far from lobby OR Skyliner but was still far enough away where we didn’t hear or even see other Guests near our room. And we had a beautiful Skyliner/water view.
Tickets: I have an Annual Pass so we only needed tickets for husband. We did the Halloween Party so didn’t need to include Magic Kingdom any other days so were able to utilize the 3 day summer ticket offer that included Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and EPCOT. Under $300!
Halloween Party tickets: Since it is still earlier in the season, the tickets are less expensive. $135ish each. You are able to get into the Magic Kingdom at 4pm on your party date so very easy to use this as your only MK day! (Christmas Party option available as well!)
Dining: I bought a $500 gift card from Sam’s Club for $480! We only went a little over. We did mostly quick service and Food & Wine Festival…except one table service (Roundup Rodeo) and two lounge/pool bars (Bar Riva and Banana Cabana.)
Souvineers: 2 shirts and 2 popcorn buckets. Under $100!
And there you have it. 5 days at Disney World for 2 Adults…doing ALL the things…for right around two grand!
Book early with just a $200 refundable deposit and make payments at your leisure! I’m always running payments for my Guests. That way, you do not have to pay a large amount all at once.
Disney doesn’t HAVE to be expensive. It CAN be quite affordable. I have Guests from Value to Moderate to Deluxe to super Deluxe with Club Level, VIP Tours, and everything in between and I love them all and am here to help YOU have the best Disney vacation you can possibly have!
ALL our Resorts are amazing. There isn’t a right or wrong way to do this. 🩷🩷

We had the most AMAZING Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party date night!! It rained for a little bit just before the party technically started but the only thing that was “modified” was the Headless Horseman in the parade. He wasn’t able to perform in either parade due to a few giant puddles along the parade route. Safety first!
Here is what we did between 5-midnight. (You are allowed to enter at 4 but we were a little late as we were coming from Animal Kingdom.)
- Entered around 4:45pm with zero wait
- Checked out the newly imagined Country Bears show (if you’ve never seen the original or even the previous one, you might like it…but if you are/were a big Country Bear Jamboree fan like me…skip this. It WILL break your heart.)
- Dinner at Pecos Bill during the rain
- Pirates of the Caribbean with last Lightning Lane we still had for the day. (We purchased the Multi Pass for Animal Kingdom and were still able to use it for MK!)
- Peter Pan’s Flight (10 min wait)
- First of several trick or treat candy stops
- PeopleMover (walk on)
- Planned on Space Mountain but it was down the majority of the night. 😕
- Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin (walk on)
- Got the party exclusive Mickey light up pumpkin popcorn bucket (no wait…we saw a VERY long line for it earlier.)
- Pirate band
- Caught part of the first parade in Frontierland on way to Tiana’s
- Standy line for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure as it was only 15 min wait as we JUST beat the parade dump
- Big Thunder Mountain (10 min wait)
- Cadaver Dans
- Haunted Mansion JUST before the fireworks (5 min wait)
- Fireworks at the Mansion
- Grabbed THE best spot for the parade an hour before last parade
- Hocus Pocus show at the Castle
Plus lots of fun PhotoPass stops! 🎃👻

PRO TIP: If flying out of Orlando in the summer, try for morning or later at night. The ONLY reason I ended up on this afternoon flight (right in the middle of prime daily storm time) is because it was the only nonstop direct flight offered this particular day for the $39 price. I gambled.
There was only an hour delay and most of it was spent sitting on the runway, but if it delayed too much longer it may have been canceled which would likely result in staying an extra night which is where your Travel Protection would come into play!
Traveling is hard. 🤪😎

The Polynesian continues to be in my top fav Resorts of all time. The atmosphere, pools, and location can’t be beat!! S/O to the pulled pork nachos AND the dole whip margarita!! 💚🥇

This is typically the most affordable monorail loop Resort option! I love the INCREDIBLE theming as well as that bathroom! The garden wing is so peaceful. It felt like we were the only ones there! Even though these particular rooms do not have balconies, you can still open the sliding glass door for some beautiful Florida winter weather! My fav thing about the Contemporary though is the short-ish walk to the Magic Kingdom. 💯💯
We didn’t think we could out do our Seester tour of our 2 bedroom villa at Saratoga Springs, so we called in for reinforcement! Boulder Ridge was awesome!!
