My Name is Sherry Heard. I am a lifelong Beatles fan, historian, and memorabilia collector, a music lover, and a travel specialist to exotic India. I was even born on October 9 - the same day as John Lennon! I have a degree in journalism from the University of Texas and I have done post graduate studies in history and pop culture, including studying the Music of the Beatles, at Oxford University, England. It is my passion to travel in the Beatles footsteps along the many long and winding roads of their journeys...from John Lennon's home Mendips or Strawberry Fields in Liverpool, to the Abbey Road crosswalk and EMI Studios in London, or from the alleyways of the Reeperbahn in Germany to the remotest Mull of Kintyre, Scotland... I've loved every moment of these Beatles pilgrimages. But one of my favorite journeys is to Rishikesh, India where the Beatles visited the Ashram of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi in 1968.

In 2018, world media once again focused on the Beatles trip there 50 years before, a trip that inspired the songs of their White Album - the best selling LP of the 1960's. As an Incredible India Destination Specialist, it is also my passion to share with you the many wonders of this magical country - one that I have visited many incredible times. I welcome you to join me in 2021 and also 2022 on my personally hosted and exclusive luxury tours to India which will celebrate the Beatles, their music, and their impact on pop culture. Plus we will explore spectacular cities and sites in India that continue to inspire to this day.
