Yup. It’s that thing that most people don’t think about, or even consider when planning their trip out of the country. They see the pictures of the white sand beaches, crystal clear blue waters, and tropical drinks and don’t think anything bad can happen. BUT accidents do happen. (You have an accident and break a limb) Most hospitals abroad require a significant deposit before they will even treat you and then require payment in full before you can leave- and your health insurance does not cover that. OR life happens (Job, family, illness) There are many things that could happen.

Why worry about how you would pay for the “IF” if the “IT” happens?

𝗔𝗟𝗟-𝗜𝗡𝗖𝗟𝗨𝗦𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝗕𝗘𝗔𝗖𝗛 𝗩𝗔𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦

These are the most common and popular amongst travelers to the Caribbean. There are literally 100’s of properties to choose from across Mexico, The Dominican Republic, Jamaica, and other islands. There are many pricing options, and these are best for people who prefer to stay on land, not have a set schedule, and offer the most relaxation (Or partying if that is your jam) as you’d like. Having one fixed price to pay which includes airfare, lodging, food, drinks and travel protection is very attractive as well. With many excursions offered in all locations, and if venturing out and experiencing the local culture is something you enjoy, that is easily arranged. There are different resorts for every taste. Family, relaxing, partying and adults only.

Pros: Generally, more cost effective, and relaxing
Cons: Stuck in one country/city

𝗖𝗥𝗨𝗜𝗦𝗘𝗦

These are becoming more and more popular as all the cruise lines build larger ships which resemble small cities. As technology evolves, the ships are becoming more stable at sea but don’t get me wrong, you WILL still feel some motion, so if you are prone to motion sickness this is something to keep in mind. (There are some remedies out there that DO work) Pricing for cruises can be slightly more than all inclusives as the ships offer more ala carte dining options for a fee, beverages are generally not included and you have too book/arrange add on travel to the port (Which can be booked as a package through an advisor) Cruises are most popular in the Caribbean, but are also very popular for experiencing Alaska, and the Mediterranean. Cruises offer a more on the go lifestyle and structure. I find cruises are good for travelers who wish to get a sampler of different countries within a week. I like them because they offer an affordable option to see what country/island you may want to come back to in the future for a longer stay. Like land based all inclusive trips, cruises offer excursions to enjoy once in port. There’s a cruise line for every budget and lifestyle imaginable. Family orientated, adults only, there’s one for everyone.

Pros: Get to wake up in a new country almost daily, more activities, better entertainment
Cons: More expensive, less relaxing, those prone to motion sickness may not enjoy
