As I walked into Club 33 I couldn’t help but to think “How the hell did I get here?” This is a place I only heard whispers about and is a far cry from the Disney trips with off site McDonald’s and the once a trip breakfast in a Disney resort. To most this may be just an over the top waste of money for the rich. But to this lifelong Disney fan it it means just a little more.

Was I hooked on Disney at a young age? Of course, the still image of Mickey and Minnie kissing my broken arm is etched into my core memories. I will always appreciate my Mom and Dad saved their teachers salary up every 2 years to be able to bring us to visit the mouse. First we stayed off site and no meals in the parks (that would be crazy lol) and then the values resorts on site, then upgraded to a moderate! (we were big timing) Port Orleans Riverside and meals on site (free dining plan of course). At this point I felt like I we were Disney royalty, Living it up at a fancy moderate resort, we were in absolute Disney heaven. 13 year old William couldn’t even imagine what life would have in store.

As the years passed me and my wife, then girlfriend fell in love in the parks while running back and forth between Tower of Terror and Rocking Rollercoaster and singing zip-a-dee-do-da while plunging down Chikapin hill.

Then came our two beautiful children and we started saving up to bring them at a young age as well. But I wasn’t happy with the jobs I had chosen in my life. Engineering inspection and natural gas distribution just wasn’t my passion. My wife could tell these jobs did not bring light into my life and graciously allowed me to chase my dreams and become a travel agent, predominantly selling Disney vacations. At first it was slow and very low paying, but I grinded and pushed forward, refusing to fail. It also helped that I picked the perfect agency in Magical Moments Vacations, with the amazing leader in Jen 🥰, and jammed packed with amazing agents that just so happen to be fantastic and insanely talented humans. As I began to plan vacations I found that I was not only helping guide families in the parks, I was making friends along the way.

Then along came a silly clock app, where I not only could promote my business, but I could express my creative side. This is the point where my life finally felt complete, I had my family, friends, a job I loved and now the creative outlet I desired. I truly enjoyed making silly videos but once again I found myself making new friends. As I came to find out some of my best friends in life. One of these friends actually became a business partner and 100% the best one I could have ever asked for.

So throughout my life long fandom, off site stays, McDonald’s and offsite buffets, falling in love, making new memories with my own children, creating a Disney career and social media platform while finding my best friends and a business partner as well, I now found myself at the most exclusive place that Disney has ever created. Like I said, That may not mean anything to most people or people will say it’s opulent, a waste of money, silly and much more . But to ME, a life long fan with Disney ingrained in my DNA, I am humbled, honored, and BEYOND thankful for getting to experience it, and I hope that anyone that really wants to have that same chance, one day gets it. You never know, I never thought I would have that chance.

You know it’s like they say, “it all started with a mouse” or in my case two mice kissing a 2 year olds broken arm. Im forever thankful to all of you in my life, Kim and the kids, the rest of my family, friends, clients, followers. Without y’all I don’t have anything.
