We have made lots of progress on the renovations in our Eagle's Nest luxury suite. The master bathroom is nearing completion with the gigantic whirlpool tub going in next week along with the new vanity. Yesterday we finished setting up the new relaxation nook with a wall-mounted waterfall and a zero gravity full body massage chair! Everyone who sees it wants to use it and they all come away feeling wonderfully relaxed - me included! The rest of the furniture is en route and we are just waiting on some art pieces to arrive. We'll have the indoor renovations completed before April. Then we'll be setting up the hot tubs and other outdoor upgrades.

Some of my desert dwelling friends ask whatever possessed me to move to Alaska. This is just one of the reasons.

We moved to Juneau, Alaska in 2009, purchasing and operating Pearson’s Pond Luxury Inn, Alaska’s only AAA 4 Diamond Inn for 10 years. In 2019 we turned a page, sold the inn and began offering vacation rentals. Pearson's Pond Luxury Suites offers premiere 1 and 2 bedroom suites in 2 locations, the Mendenhall Valley and on Douglas Island across from downtown Juneau.
