We had a great time at last week's C.A.R.E. - Cooperative Association of Resort Exchangers Conference in our very own Kansas City!

We love learning from other industry leaders and spending time discussing ideas, trends and shared goals.

Our team member, Corina, celebrated 9 years on the Board of Directors at C.A.R.E., bringing an end to her tenure and a wealth of cherished friends and partners over the years.

We were incredibly proud to receive, on our founder Tom Lyons' behalf, C.A.R.E.'s Pinnacle Award! "The winner of this achievement award must have demonstrated their commitment to the community through philanthropic activities and possess characteristics of leadership, integrity, quality standards and ethics." We are so proud of our team at Global Connections! We made the decision to adopt a family through a local organization to help provide for them during the holiday season. Our amazing team bought all sorts of items that the family both wanted and needed and got together to wrap them all up so we could deliver them all to them. It's what the holiday season is all about!

Duties/Responsibilities
● Assist members with leisure travel arrangements– air, car, hotel, cruises, and tours.
● Record keeping of all calls and outcomes.
● Communication with clients.
● Stay up to date with VIP cruises or tour specials.
● Understand and apply new computer enhancements.
● Stay updated on sales.
● Reply to GDV request.
● Assist with promotions outside the office.
● Stay up to date on website cruises and tours.
● Awareness of airline changes, including luggage fees, penalties, new restrictions, Visas, and COVID 19 rules.
● Check Ques daily.
● Backup for ARC report.
● Main agent for renewal getaways.
● Serve as a backup agent for Corporate Accounts.
● Engage in vendor lunches and vendor training.
● Help keep “library” stocked with current tour and cruise brochures and other supplies.
● Help maintain organization within the travel department.
● Assist and support other team members.
● All duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements, Abilities and Expectations
● High school diploma or equivalent
● Preferred, 1-2 years of experience
● Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective ongoing relationships
● Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills
● Ability to deliver consistent, exceptional customer service
● Proficient with city, airline, hotel and car rental codes
● Strong computer skills and confidence to learn new systems
● Professional integrity and sense of responsibility and accountability
● Excellent oral and written communication skills
