Why a red carpet? Former college and NFL quarterback Tim Tebow, who founded Night to Shine, believes it changes someone’s identity when they believe that they are important, valued, loved and special.

“In today’s society, red carpets signify excellence, they signify meaning, they signify VIP on this night,” Tebow told Jimmy Fallon. “In God’s eyes and I believe in my eyes, they are the true VIPs.”

We are just under ONE MONTH away from our event...UNBELIEVABLE!!! Exciting!!! ✨🤴🏻👸🏻💃🏻🕺🏻

Here are a few updates:

1. ALL REGISTRATIONS ARE CLOSED!!

For GUESTS: We are to capacity & won’t be adding any late registrations this year. For those who missed the registration deadline we hope you can join us in the future!!

For VOLUNTEERS: The BUDDY TEAM is the ONLY team we are still filling. Anyone interested in being a Buddy can register on our website at ntsvisalia1st.com

2. TUX-N-TAILS is running promotions specifically for our event for VOLUNTEERS & GUESTS, if you need to rent a suit or tux go check them out. We encourage you to go set up your rentals NOW…be sure to specify if you are a Volunteer or Guest when you go in. If you have questions give them a call…627-3104.

3. Our FIRST training meeting will be TODAY, Jan. 12, 2025 @ 1pm in the Next Gen Building at VIsalia First. Volunteers (including minors) must attend a meeting in order to volunteer the night of our event! (Decor team does not need to attend a meeting) Reminder: MINOR VOLUNTEERS MUST BE 16+ years of age.

Meeting dates are as follows:
Sunday, Jan. 12, 2025 @ 1:00pm
Sunday, Jan. 26, 2025 @ 1:00pm
Friday, Jan. 31, 2025 @ 6:30pm

4. REGISTERED VOLUNTEERS a text message has gone out to everyone with important information attached in it, please read this information in its entirety as it will give you more insight to your role & the event.

Our LAST MANDATORY TRAINING MEETING will be today Sunday, Jan 28th @ 1pm at Visalia First (3737 S. Akers St Visalia Ca) in the Next Gen Building.

If you already came to a meeting, you DO NOT need to come today.

Friendly reminder:
ALL volunteers (with the exception of the Decor Team) must attend ONE training in order to serve in Feb, again we have offered three different days/times. This is the last of the three!

Tux-N-Tails in Visalia has partnered with us in providing discounted packages for anyone wanting to rent a tux or suit for our event. Both locations (Mooney, & Locust) are participating and are ready for you to get fitted!

Due to special price points on these packages when you go in please specify that you are wanting to get fitted for the Night to Shine prom, & please state if you’re a guest or a volunteer. This is important information the staff will need in order to give you the correct price on your package.
