It’s all the little moments that makes Walt Disney World one of my favorite places & why I keep going back. It’s such a fun escape from reality & everyday life.

The magic is everywhere. You never know what characters you might spot around the resorts. Loved being able to capture this chance encounter. Always have your camera ready.

Embarkation Day! Your first day on a Disney Cruise is both exciting and a little overwhelming! I try to make sure it’s not too overwhelming for my clients by giving them as much info as I can.

When you arrive at port you will go through a security process, then wait for your boarding group to be called. One of the neat things about Disney is that the magic begins before you even step on the ship. They have characters in the Port greeting guests!

Then the excitement begins. Next as you enter the ship, each family is announced to the ship!!! Welcome Brackett Family!!

After boarding, you will get to enjoy lunch at the buffet or they have one of the main dining rooms open for a delicious meal. I prefer the main dining room. Depending on the time you board, you might even have some free time before the assembly (muster) drill. This can be a great time to check out the kid’s clubs! Your luggage will magically appear outside your stateroom door sometime that afternoon.

Next it is time to SAIL AWAY! I love Disney’s Sail Away party! You can feel the excitement! Everyone on board is singing and dancing and ready for vacation! Don’t forget to try the drink of the day.

After the party, it is time to enjoy dinner. You will get to meet your server team. This team will rotate with you to each restaurant every evening.

Each night you also get to enjoy one of Disney’s Broadway caliber shows!!

🚨A park favorite will be closing for refurbishment🚨

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World will be closing for a lengthy refurbishment on Jan. 6, 2025 and will be reopening with a little bit of new magic sometime in 2026! The Wildest Ride in the Wilderness sure will be missed during the closure.
