Yesterday and today Denali National Park. Did a five mile hike this morning. So pretty. and beautiful

Seldovia today. Took a boat over, saw sea
Otters with pups. Took a cab into down with a tour. Hiked the Otter Bahn trail, saw bear tracks. No bears darn! And took a small plane back. What a great day.

Yesterday we visited the Begich Boggs Vistor Center, Portage Glacier, Girdwood and Homer. We did the Alyeska Ariel tram, Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center and headed the day walking around the Homer Spit. What a great day.

Our next big adventure Alaska! We will be flying to Anchorage then driving around Alaska. I can not wait to post my own pictures. The last time I was in Alaska was many years ago. It's time.

What a difference trip to Memphis this one was. Because of the snow, freezing rain and low temperatures many of the local attractions, shops and restaurants are closed. The locals think us out of state people are crazy for venturing outside. Still had a good time.

Duck March at the Peabody Memphis. Very cold and snow covered here. Took a bit of Beale Street in last night. Many of the shops and restaurants are closed due the weather. It’s all good still having fun.

Mazatlan, Mexico. Very different than any other area of Mexico that I have been to. Beautiful sunsets for sure. This area of Mexico is definitely much poorer than other area’s. I did not feel unsafe at the airport, the resort or walking the Golden Zone and the Malecon. Everyone we encountered was very friendly and helpful. I am glad I had the opportunity to travel to this area. Hopefully Mazatlán will recover from the last few years of non travel.

Mexico Monday. Mark and I are off to Mazatlán at the end of the week. This is a new destination for us. As well as a new resort chain, we are staying at El Cid Castilla in their Elite class. I am excited to learn about this area of Mexico and the El Cid properties.
