Praying for Jasper 😢❤️🙏

We are incredibly saddened for the community of Jasper, Alberta as the National Park is facing an emergency due to a wildfire that began on July 22 and resulted in the evacuation of the town. Around 6:40pm MT on July 24, the wildfire reached the townsite. Tragically, there are reports of significant structural damage in the town. We want to thank the firefighters and first responders who continue to valiantly work to combat the fires and protect the town's critical infrastructure. While it will take some time for us to learn the full extent of the damage, we are extremely grateful that our colleagues and guests have been safely evacuated.

Our hearts are with all Jasper community members and first responders, and we are sending wishes of strength and safety.

Given this devastating information, we are unable to continue our rail journeys to or from Jasper for the foreseeable future. If you were scheduled to travel with us to or from Jasper, please visit our travel updates page (linked below) for updates regarding this evolving situation.
