My Unique Travel Designs Journey
My love of travel began many years ago with my two sisters. What really started my introduction into becoming a travel agent was when my sister asked me to help organize a destination wedding for my niece in Jamaica. She knew I liked to organize family events so this was a fun project for me. I worked in the accounting industry for many years and knew that was not my heart’s calling. Planning that destination wedding trip gave me the idea to become a travel agent. What started out as a group of 34 soon blossomed into semi annual group vacations with my family and new friends. As the groups grew, my passion to be a travel agent grew. With my accounting experience under my belt, and already a good group of people traveling with me, I decided it was now or never. In 2012 I formed my first travel company. I initially had a niche business selling only European and US River Cruises. Quickly I realized there was much interest in all types of travel, from all-inclusive vacations, exotic destinations, domestic and international tours, villa vacations, ocean cruises, theme parks, golf, ski and fishing tours, rail tours, self-drive tours and of course honeymoons.
I recently changed my company name to Unique Travel Designs. I specialize in luxury travel planning, but also sell all types of travel. Since I currently work out of my home, I provide concierge services to my guests-I come to you at your convenience. It has worked out well for me and I value each of my guests. My customers are not just a name or number to me, we become friends during the process. They appreciate that I treat them and all my guests as VIP’s - Very Important People.

With 20+ years in the travel industry, I strive to ensure my guests feel like VIP’s by providing personalized vacation planning, preparing travel documents and check in service, offering price protection, monitoring airfare and guest seat preferences, making dinner reservations, golf tee times, ski lift tickets, sport fishing expeditions. car rentals, etc. More importantly, I provide updates to my guests every step of the way. Best of all, I provide this service to my guests complimentary.
