About Us
Marvel Ballooning was founded in 2018. Joe Burger, Marvel Ballooning’s owner and Chief Pilot, has been flying for over 18 years with a perfect safety record. In addition to flying balloons, he is a Captain with a large regional airline. He has been around hot air balloons since about the age of 16. He wanted to create a unique company that puts customers over profit. Joe notices that many hot air balloon ride companies pack as many people into the basket as possible to make the most profit. We decided smaller is better. Because of that, we fly smaller hot air balloons that allow for a more intimate experience. With Marvel Ballooning, Joe wants you to have an intimate experience rather than sharing it with several strangers. Come fly with us and see what makes us different.
