We just applied for Lorelai’s first passport so she’s all ready for our cruise in November! Here’s an update on the process.
📍 Current processing time for new passports is 7-9 weeks. The representative who took our application said people have been receiving them in 4-5 weeks but always make sure to apply early! Also, if your passport expires less than 6 months after your travel date, should plan to renew it before your travel
📍Photos should look like the one pictured. The post office where we did our application offers photo services, or you can go to a Walgreens for them (that is what Tyler and I did when we got our passports)
📍Passports must be paid for with a check or money order
📍 You can make an appointment for passport application processing on the US Dept of State website
📍Passports are highly encouraged for closed loop cruises (departing and returning from the same US port), and required for all international travel.
Questions? Let me know!

We had a ✨magical time✨ experiencing all things new and different over the past few days at WDW! I am currently working on updating my client travel packs with all the new information, particularly about Lightning Lane single pass and multi pass! My clients won’t have to learn the system on their own - they’ll have me to guide them!
I’d love to guide you through your next adventure!

Welcome to Disney’s Coronado Springs resort! This moderate resort consists of three sections of guest rooms, as well as the Gran Destino Tower, which is like a deluxe resort at moderate pricing. Coronado Springs houses one of WDW’s convention centers, as well as the Dig Site feature pool, three quiet pools, quick and table service dining options, and a couple bars and lounges. We have a standard room in the Casitas section, which actually ended up being more of a pool view of this section’s quiet pool. Swipe for some photos of our room!

I’ll admit that new mom life has made it a little more difficult to keep up with social media, but rest assured I am still out here booking trips for clients, working hard on those that are currently booked, and keeping up with everything new and exciting. I’ve got lots of clients traveling soon to Disney World, Disneyland, and on Disney Cruise Line. They will all have the best time!
Speaking of new and exciting- there is a lot of new stuff that has recently opened or is coming soon at WDW, and I want to be able to report on it all for you so…I am headed down for a very short stay next week! ✨ The theme of this trip is NEW, so Tyler and I will be trying as much new stuff as possible, starting with our resort hotel! We will be staying at Coronado Springs, one of the only spots we have never stayed. Over the 2.5 days we will be there, we will try as much new (to us) stuff as possible, from experiences (new Lightning Lane procedures!), attractions (Tiana’s Bayou Adventure), food and drink (Summerhouse on the Lake!), and more! Stay tuned - you won’t want to miss this!

Day 8 Recap! ✨
Our last day 😭 included a quick visit to Animal Kingdom! There is not much that babies can do here, but there were a couple things we did not want Lorelai to miss. We started the day on Kilimanjaro Safaris, where the animals were super active and close to the cars! Then we did some browsing in stores before our favorite Disney show, Festival of the Lion King! It was so awesome to watch Lorelai’s reactions to everything and see the cast members interact with her. She LOVED the show and was so alert and focused the whole time.
We had lunch at Flame Tree Barbeque, where we learned that our 4:55 flight was delayed until 7 because of weather 😩. We took our time leaving the park and got some photos at the Tree of Life. Lorelai was asleep so the PhotoPass cast member gave us some awesome poses to do so as not to wake her!
Then it was time to leave, so we headed back to the Polynesian to grab our bags and head to the airport. We ended up being delayed to 9pm and didn’t get back to our house until after midnight. Lorelai was such a trooper and slept the whole flight!
Overall we had an amazing trip and my girls first visit was a success! I am so thankful for all the memories we made and I will cherish them forever. I can’t wait for many more trips with my little family. Our next adventure will be a cruise in November and we are so excited!!

Okay, I’m behind on these because of the end of trip madness, but here is the day 7 recap! ✨
Lorelai got the sniffles! 😭 We got a later start than we planned because we wanted to let her rest a bit, but we headed into Magic Kingdom for some more fun! Lorelai was able to do a bunch more rides, including the Peoplemover (she slept the whole time 😂), Little Mermaid, Peter Pan’s Flight, and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. We had lunch at Pinocchio Village Haus and when my mom got a Mickey ice cream bar, Lorelai needed some too 😂
We also enjoyed some dole whip and Tyler and I took a turn on Tron Lightcycle Run (so much fun!). After a fun filled morning/afternoon, we headed back to the resort to start packing up and get ready for dinner.
Dinner was my absolute favorite - Ohana! This is a must every trip for me. The noodles are EVERYTHING, and it never disappoints. We ate until we were uncomfortably full, and then we headed back to start packing (which takes longer with a baby!) but Tyler and I were able to catch the end of Happily Ever After from the beach and get some last pool time in.

We got in late last night so I was too tired to post, but here is the day 6 recap! ✨
It was finally our Epcot day and I was so excited to take my girl to my favorite park! We started the day with a Lightning Lane for Frozen Ever After, which Lorelai loved! We then started heading around the world, where we got a pic of Lorelai in every country with an icon for that country! Stay tuned for pics!
We saw the Voices of Liberty perform at the American Adventure, and then had lunch at Regal Eagle Smokehouse, where Tyler and I got a Garden Rocks dining package to see Simple Plan!
We continued around the countries, stopping for a quick ride on Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, some frushi in Japan, and some violet lemonade, and then took Lorelai into The Seas with Nemo and Friends. She loved looking at all of the fishies! We also loved exploring the new center of Epcot and a quick pause to say hi to Walt the Dreamer. Before we left, Tyler and I had an individual lightning lane for Cosmic Rewind, the best ride in Orlando!
We headed back for a short break, and then Tyler and I had a date night! We did a couple of festival booths (including the INCREDIBLE peanut butter and jelly soft serve) and then headed to America to see Simple Plan! It was an awesome show that I’m so glad we got to see.
After the show we saw the new fireworks show, Luminous (I liked Harmonious better personally, but I like that you can have a good view no matter where you are in the World Showcase). There were extended evening hours for deluxe resort guests only in Epcot so we were able to walk through Journey of Water and ride Cosmic Rewind one more time.

Day 5 recap ✨
Happy Mother’s Day everyone! From the time I knew I was pregnant with Lorelai, I knew I needed to spend my first Mother’s Day in Magic Kingdom, and today did not disappoint!
Lorelai met so many characters today! We started the day meeting Mickey at Town Square Theater, and it did not end there! She also met Snow White, Jasmine, Tiana, Rapunzel, Cinderella, and Elena throughout the day.
We snapped some pics in front of the castle first thing (Lorelai and I had matching shirts, but she spit up on it before we even left the room 🤣) but it really made my heart happy to get castle pics with my little family!
We then treated our moms to breakfast at Crystal Palace and met Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, and Piglet. Tigger is my mom’s fave so of course she was excited! This breakfast buffet was so yummy! The highlight was the churro waffles - definitely try them with ice cream!
Lorelai did three rides today: Magic Carpets of Aladdin, Pirates of the Caribbean, and it’s a small world. She loved them all! We are definitely moving slower this trip and taking lots of breaks, but we are going at her pace, especially because it’s a little hotter than we expected it to be this week. We won’t hit everything and that is totally okay! It is more about spending this time together and not overwhelming Lorelai.
We had dinner at Columbia Harbor House, which is an amazing quick service in Magic Kingdom. Lorelai got her first Disney balloon and has been enjoying pin trading with Mommy and Daddy. She even got her own lanyard!
Once she got her bath and went to bed, Tyler and I saw the fireworks from the Polynesian beach and had some pool time. It was a day for the memory books and the best first Mother’s Day I could ask for 💖

I couldn’t put this with my recap post because it didn’t fit, but here’s our group shot in front of the Chinese Theater! We even got a special prop to celebrate Mother’s Day! Our moms have been such a huge help with Lorelai, not only on this trip but since she’s been born and we are so grateful!

Day 4 Recap! ✨
We started the morning with a yummy breakfast at Kona Cafe. This is a Disney trip staple for us, and it was even easier when you’re staying at the Polynesian! You gotta try the cheesy grits when you are there!
After breakfast we had some pool time. My girl loves the water but got sleepy so she napped on me in a pool chair for awhile 😂😂
We then got dressed and ready to head to Lorelai’s first Disney park, Hollywood Studios! As we were leaving, we got lucky again and met Daisy, Chip, and Dale outside of the Grand Ceremonial Hall! Lorelai really loves meeting characters!
Once we got to the park, we headed to Toy Story Land, where Lorelai did her first Disney ride, Toy Story Mania. After that, my mom, mother-in-law, and I rode Slinky Dog Dash while Tyler took Lorelai for some quiet time in the Star Wars Launch Bay. We then headed to meet Olaf, and Lorelai even held his hand in the picture! We had dinner at ABC Commissary, where they have the best buffalo chicken grilled cheese. Then we did Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, which Lorelai absolutely loved. We cruised through the stores on Hollywood Boulevard and then headed back to the Polynesian. Our moms went to watch the fireworks from the pool while Tyler and I settled Lorelai for the night.
I’m so looking forward to tomorrow, when I spend my first Mother’s Day with my sweetie in Magic Kingdom! 💖

Day 3 Recap!✨
We started the day with a few more hours at Universal Studios. Tyler and I snagged a walk on ride on The Mummy before we headed over to Kings Cross Station and Lorelai’s first theme park ride - The Hogwarts Express! We then headed over to Hogwarts to snap some cute family photos - peep mine and Tyler’s awesome shirts!
Then we headed to Seuss Landing and met some Dr. Seuss pals, including our fave, The Grinch, and Lorelai got her first autographs! We took her on the Caro-Seuss-El, which she loved! We then headed back to our hotel to grab our bags and headed to Walt Disney World!!
When we rolled up to the Polynesian, we were greeted by Donald, Goofy, and Pluto outside of the Grand Ceremonial Hall! Lorelai hadn’t even been in Disney for five minutes and they certainly rolled out the red carpet for her! All of the characters we’ve met so far, both at Universal and Disney, have been amazing with her.
We dropped our bags at the rooms and then had some pool time before heading to dinner at Beaches and Cream at Disney’s Beach Club resort. Tyler and I did some pin trading - so happy cast-to-guest trading is back!!!
We headed back to the Polynesian for bath and bedtime for Lorelai, and then Tyler and I watched Happily Ever After while floating in the pool!!

Now that we’ve checked out, time for a review of Universal’s Aventura Hotel!
This prime value resort is an AMAZING place to stay and won’t break the bank to do so. We had a kids suite which is a perfect option for families. The main bedroom area featured a king sized bed which was separated from a second bedroom with two twin beds. There was also a sitting room with a pull out couch. Each room had its own TV, and an iPad that controlled everything from lights to temperature. The whole room featured floor to ceiling windows, and we could see Hogwarts from our room!
The bathroom featured a separate room for the toilet, double sink, stand up shower, and bath tub. The bathtub did not have a shower so we could not take showers at the same time, which was the only complaint I had.
We booked a separate connecting queen bed room for our moms, so we had a lot of extra space! Overall, our accommodations could sleep 10 people so it was a great value!
One of the coolest things about the resort was Relay, which was a delivery robot! If you requested something to your room, it could be delivered by Relay!
Guests at Aventura receive early park admission to all of the Universal theme parks and are walking distance to Volcano Bay. I highly recommend this option for your family!!

Day 2 Recap!
We had a magical time during Lorelai’s first theme park day! We started in Universal Studios and headed to Diagon Alley, where we had a yummy breakfast at the Leaky Cauldron. Then, we enjoyed a very short wait for Escape from Gringotts while Lorelai watched The Tale of the Three Brothers with her Nana. We then explored Diagon Alley a bit more before heading out to hit a couple other rides. There are no rides at Universal Studios that babies Lorelai’s age can do, so she was a champ and went along for the ride, and we used rider swap where we needed to, including for the new Minions attraction (just okay in my opinion). We did get to meet a few characters with our girl and she especially liked Poppy from Trolls!
We ended the afternoon with a really delicious lunch at Minion Cafe (highly recommend!) and then headed back to Aventura for some down time for Lorelai before we did a little more pool time.
Then we headed to City Walk for dinner at Toothsome Chocolate Emporium (another highly recommended spot - not only are the desserts delicious but the food is too!). After dinner, Lorelai went back to the hotel with her Nana, while the rest of us hopped in line for Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure right at park close. There is no way to skip the line at this attraction without a VIP Tour (which I can book for you!), so we were prepared for a long wait. It was posted 75 minutes and we waited 53. Worth. Every. Minute.
Now to wind down for a little more time at Universal tomorrow before transferring over to Disney!!!!

Day 1 Recap!
We flew into Orlando this afternoon and Lorelai did AWESOME on the flight! We headed to Universal’s Aventura Hotel. This is one of their prime value hotels and it is amazing! We have a kid’s suite connected to a standard two queen room since we are traveling with our moms. I’ll be posting specifically about the room later!
We intended to go into the parks tonight but ended up crunched for time, so instead we had dinner at Aventura’s quick service location, Urban Pantry, and it was DELISH! They had a bunch of stations including build your own woks, pizza, and more! Super high quality for a quick service!
Then, we headed for a little pool time! It was Lorelai’s first time in a pool and she liked it! She was tired though so we’ll see how she does when she isn’t tired 😂
After we put Lorelai to bed, she stayed in the room with her Mommom while we enjoyed Aventura’s rooftop bar! Now, to bed to get well rested for a big day at Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure!

I cant believe we leave for Lorelai’s First Disney Trip tomorrow!! Admittedly, I am a last minute packer, but when your packing assistant is this cute, it really doesn’t matter! 💖
We will be visiting Universal Studios for two days and staying at Universal’s Aventura Hotel. Then, we will transfer to Walt Disney World to celebrate my first Mother’s Day in my favorite place! We will be staying at Disney’s Polynesian Village resort, my second favorite Disney resort. Along the way, I’ll be sharing my trip with all of you, and sharing tips for doing Disney and Universal with an infant. I am so excited!
I will be in Orlando for the next week so if you try to reach me and it takes a little longer to respond than usual, that’s why! And don’t worry, if you’ve already contacted me about Halloween Party tickets, I’ve got you covered tomorrow!
