Here’s the July 1st line-up of celebrations and activities that are happening throughout Whistler Village 🥳
8am - Spo7ez Performance Team Welcome. This opening ceremony will be held in Mountain Square. The SLCC Cultural Ambassadors will begin our special event with a warm and respectful welcome to these sacred lands, acknowledging the deep history and culture of the Squamish Nation and Lil’wat Nation.
8-9am - Community Yoga. Brought to you by Lululemon, this event will be held in front of the store in Whistler Village Square. Please bring your own yoga mat!
8:30-11am - Pancake Breakfast. Presented by the Whistler Rotary Club, located at Whistler Olympic Plaza. Pancakes will be $10 minimum for adults and $7 for kids!
Noon - Whistler’s Village Parade! The parade route is along the Village Stroll: Starting from Olympic Plaza and ending at Mountain Square. This walking parade features a diverse array of performances and participation from various community groups and local businesses.
1:15-2:30pm - Whistler’s roving Characters. Located throughout Whistler Village from Mountain Square to Ted Nebbeling Bridge. Wander the Village and encounter lively performers, dressed in colorful and imaginative costumes.
1:30-1:40pm - Alex Wells Hoop Dancer! Located at Town Plaza Gazebo, Alex Wells is a world-renowned Indigenous hoop dancer and three-time World Champion Hoop Dancer. Hailing from the Lil’wat Nation in British Columbia, Canada. Do not miss this incredible artist!
2-2:20pm - Yuki the Juggler! Once again at Town Plaza Gazebo! Yuki has over 15 years of experience and brings a mix of traditional and modern juggling techniques to bring laughs and awe to audiences.
6:30pm - Whistler Olympic Plaza Concert! Starting off the evening with DJ Foxy Moron! And then at 7:30pm this year’s headliner: Walk off the Earth!

“This was a wonderful multilevel Airbnb with a generous 2 car garage and guest parking. I had an electric vehicle and was able to charge while I was there. Additionally, there were storage racks for boards and skis. We really loved the amenities. All the beds were extremely comfortable, it’s like we had never left our own home. They also had every possible kitchen appliance you could imagine and then some. We would absolutely stay here again.”

"We spent a few days here with our in-laws and 2 kids (we are from Vancouver) and travel to Whistler often. This is the first time we’ve stayed in Creekside. The home is equipped with everything you need. The living area is very spacious and we cooked a few meals in the kitchen as well which was nice. The kids loved the bunk beds and each were able to have a “top bunk bed”! As for the location- We absolutely LOVED it. It really is so close to the village, but away from all the noise and late night partying! We were able to walk to Dustys Bar and BBQ… Great experience and food! We all love our morning coffee and treat... Starbucks was also about a 10 minute a walk away which was very convenient! We also went and had a massage and meal at Nita Lake Lodge! We will definitely be back again.
