🐢 🌊 Disney’s Vero Beach has more than 15 nesting sites this weekend marked 🐢🌊

Vero Beach is among the most important turtle-nesting habitats in the western hemisphere. The beaches are frequented by 3 species of threatened or endangered sea turtles: loggerheads, greens and leatherbacks.

When you venture out onto the beach in the morning you may see Disney Conservation Team Wildlife in action, and you just might get to see a freshly laid sea turtle nest or hatchling turtles that have emerged from their nest.

Fingers crossed we may get lucky and get to see turtle tracks over the next few mornings ❤️

1. Drop on in-to virtual queue...
When Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opens on June 28, it will use a virtual queue. Guests can request to join the virtual queue via the My Disney Experience app at one of two times: 7 a.m. or 1 p.m. While a standby queue will not be available during the attraction’s initial opening days, we expect to open a standby queue soon after the attraction’s opening.

Visit disneyworld.com/virtualqueue for more details about how virtual queues at Disney World work and what your clients need to know before visiting Magic Kingdom.

2. Or purchase Disney Genie+ service.
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will also be included as a Lightning Lane entrance in Disney Genie+ service*. Purchasing this service on the My Disney Experience app helps guests get to some of their favorite attractions faster through Lightning Lane entrances and includes digital downloads of select Disney PhotoPass attraction photos taken in the park on the day of purchase. Guests may check the app on the day of their visit for pricing and availability.

Small world nursery (6months-3years)
This area is designed for the youngest of passengers to explore, play, and make crafts. There is even a nap area for when they get worn out from all of the fun. Reservations are highly encouraged since only a small number of children can have access to the nursery to ensure proper care.

🎶 Fans of 1900 Park Fare will remember Big Bertha, an antique organ that has called the resort home since 1988. Look for her in the main dining room, where she’s on display as its grand centerpiece!

🎨 The artistic touches continue throughout the main dining room, where you’ll also find twelve new portraits created exclusively for the restaurant by Disney artists. Each one, inspired by the impressionist art style of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, features a different Disney character as they hope, dream and wish upon a star (or even a magic lamp or a wishing well).

🏝️ St. Thomas provided the best beach day for us to finish our Eastern Caribbean cruise on the Norwegian Viva ☀️
We had a quick bus ride from the port to the beautiful Magen’s Bay beach.
Lots of sand for those who want to spread out and lounge chairs available for rental.

The best part- no beach vendors, just relaxation!
