"This young pelican learned his first lesson on not to bite more then u can chew! With this cold weather we seen alot of Catfish washed up on the beach and this youngen decided to grab on and it first got stuck in his throat after many tries it went to the bottom of the beak where it also got stuck, he went from the beach to the water where the weight of the fish dragged him under, believe me we were on stand by to get that fish out of his mouth but after awhile it finally came out and he dropped it and hopefully he said I won't do that again!!!"

She does such amazing work and just really shows that you will encounter so much wildlife and have long term amazing stories when you stay in Navarre Beach!

Navarre Beach Sunsets are out of this world amazing!

And yes I have seen many a sunset over the waters being from Michigan and close to Lake Michigan. There is just something different about the Emerald Coast though!

Check out the beach! I am so glad they are doing this restoration project. The one phase is done and where you see it ending at the top of the picture, they will be working on that next. The plan is it will be done by end of January. This was a much needed project for our area.

The wildlife long term will also benefit. It was taking a toll on Sea Turtle nesting having very little beach left after the last few years of storms (since the last restoration project over 8 years ago). Now there will be more beach for nesting! Crabs will have more beach to play on (not sure of their purpose other than feeding the birds hahaha) and the local shore birds will have more room too

Hiring for 2025 season starts now!!

Tryout: 550yards swim in pool (11 laps) under 10 minutes, and 1.5 mile run on track in under 15 minutes.
· Tryout dates:
o December 7th at 10am at UWF Aquatic Center
o January 4th at 9am at UWF Aquatic Center
o January 25th at 11am at UWF Aquatic Center
· UWF Aquatic Center (11000 University Pkwy, Pensacola, Fl, 32514)
· Dress Attire: Professional Athletic Attire, swimsuit, goggles (if needed), towel, water, running clothes, and shoes.

Fill out the questionnaire to be put on the pre employment email list. Scan the QR code.

Lifeguard Academy starts February 1st.

(FBPCA) is thrilled to announce Navarre Beach Fire Rescue - Beach Safety Division as the 2024 Beach Patrol of the Year! This prestigious award honors excellence in ocean rescue, innovation, and dedication to public safety.
Since taking over in 2019, Navarre Beach Fire Rescue has redefined beach safety:
-Zero drownings on their beaches since 2019
-Advanced USLA-certified lifeguard agency
-Rigorous fitness standards, including 1000-meter swims/runs/paddles
-Lifeguards trained in Emergency Medical Response with advanced airway training.
-PWC/UTV, and drone operations.
-Pioneering innovations like “Mobile Towers” and portable rip current simulators.
-Educating 3,000+ people annually through public outreach beach safety talks.
Their commitment extends beyond the sand:
-Host of the Emerald Coast Lifesaving Race Series
