Super important for boating safety on Lake Chelan 👇👇👇

The weather is ripe for boating on Lake Chelan and we hope everyone has a memorable and safe experience out there. But there are a few things you should know before you go.

The Pioneer Fire has several helicopters dipping out of Lake Chelan. These operations are not only hazardous to the public trying to get a closer look, but they are more challenging for pilots as well. Maneuvering over water requires more power to sustain a hover and perform highly technical approach and take off.

For your safety, it is critical to maintain distance from aircraft at all times. Aircraft, both on the ground and in the air, present numerous hazards that are not always immediately visible. Propellers and rotor blades spin at high speeds creating a dangerous environment. Additionally, getting too close to working aircraft can impede suppression operations resulting in the potential grounding of all incident aircraft.

Your cooperation helps maintain a secure environment for everyone, ensuring that incident operations can proceed smoothly without unnecessary hazards.

Two charming trolleys will be running a scheduled circuit from a variety of wineries and other fun Chelan locations from noon to 7 p.m. Thursday - Monday from Memorial Day to Labor Day! Just hop on & hop off!

But WAIT! That's not all. We will also have a trolley available for private bookings such as events, wine tours, or weddings!
