At the top of Dirty Face on the north side of Lake Wenatchee. This beautiful trail is one of the closest to RRL, and it is the perfect time of year to hike it if you are up for a challenge- it is about 9 miles and 4000 feet of elevation gain, with spectacular views!

Happy first day of spring! Rafting season is getting closer as the days get longer and temps start to rise. The rafting season generally starts in April and goes into June for the biggest whitewater season. After June the whitewater gets more family friendly. It’s official...the Stevens Pass Bike Park will return this summer! Starting in late June (exact date snowmelt dependent), you can ride with us, Thursdays – Sundays until October 2. We’re excited to share that Hogsback Express will be spinning this summer for all your adventures. You can haul your bike up on the lift and experience the thrill of a downhill ride on our freeride or technical trails. Or, for those who want a quieter experience, you can ride the lift and hike, or just take in the amazing views of the North Cascades.

We’re also bringing back bike rentals and lessons – so if you've always wanted to explore downhill mountain biking more, this is a great way to get started. Granite Peaks Lodge will be open this summer, so after you’ve enjoyed the mountain on your ride or hike, swing on by for some food and drinks.

Hello, everyone!

I hope you’re all having a fantastic weekend – I sure am! It’s so awesome to see everyone enjoying the backside of the mountain, taking their first turns of the season on those runs. I know so many of you have been anxiously awaiting this, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I have. I have two important messages for today:

❄️ We’ve heard you – and we agree – extending the season is our plan, snow conditions permitting. We won’t put an exact date on this just yet, but I’m really happy to share this news. More to come.

❄️ As mentioned when “Fortune Telling” initially launched, we’ve reached a good point of progress here on the mountain. Because of that, I’ll be moving from posting daily to doing so several times each week, or as needed. I’ll keep sharing things through my point-of-view, along with ongoing progress (or setbacks) with everything up at Stevens Pass.

We rented snowshoes from Plain Hardware and headed to Lake Wenatchee (state park north entrance) for a gorgeous jaunt on the loop trail. Highly recommend!
