Trophy Run waterfront cabins are elegantly nestled along the banks of scenic Lake Taneycomo as one of the Midwest’s newest undiscovered gems. Our Adirondack style cabins are situated on a gently sloped, beautifully wooded, 42-acre site that includes 900 feet of secluded Lake Taneycomo waterfront. Whether you venture out on the hiking and biking trails, or picnic by the lake, you will enjoy the natural surroundings of Trophy Run.
Our Welcome Center check-in is at 117 Trophy Run Rd, Branson, MO 65616, and the cabins are a 3/4 mile drive down Trophy Run Road.
Located on the south bank of Lake Taneycomo, Trophy Run is 1.5 miles from State Park Marina, 1.7 miles from the Showboat Branson Belle, and 2.3 miles from Moonshine Beach Recreation Area, all on beautiful Table Rock Lake.
Equal distance (16 minute drive) between either Silver Dollar City or Branson Landing, Trophy Run can be seen from the Scenic Overlook on Historic Highway 165. It is also less than 10 minutes from Branson’s world-famous Hwy 76 – ‘The Strip’ – where you can experience all of the live shows, miniature golf, go-karts, zip-lines, museums, attractions and dining that the family-friendly City of Branson is famous for!

You will find walk-in tiled showers in these beautiful, refined, rustic cabins and they are fully equipped with all small appliances, in-door ice and water dispenser, crock pot, baking pans, and much more. The utility area features a washer and dryer. Much care has been given to the choice of plush towels and fine linens to make your comfort as good or better than being in your own home.
Resort and Surrounding Area
Children and adults alike will be in wonder at all the wildlife and will even have a great chance of seeing bald eagles that occasionally fish this area. This section of Lake Taneycomo is called Trophy Run, the resort’s namesake, for its numerous catches of trophy-sized rainbow and brown trout.
A sidewalk takes you over 500 feet along the Lake Taneycomo shoreline, meandering along the shore to the upper pathway, then along a beautiful babbling brook. You can cross a lovely stone bridge and continue to your own secluded picnic area. Two waterfalls are in the brook that eventually falls 10 feet into a stocked fishing pond on either end. The brook is lushly landscaped with native reeds and water plants with many grassy areas perfect for a picnic with family or friends.
There is plenty of parking space for your family vehicles as well as your boat. And speaking of boats, the resort is within 5 minutes of State Park Marina. Reserve your daily slip or watercraft rentals through Trophy Run and save!
Trophy Run is connected to one of the area’s best hiking/biking trails – over 10 miles of beautiful Ozarks wilderness and lakeside Missouri Parks system of trails are right outside your door. There are two trail heads for those systems within 1.5 miles of Trophy Run and one is on Trophy Run Road.
Common around the resort are whitetail deer, wild turkey, northern geese, ducks, cranes, fox, coyotes, groundhogs, squirrels, chipmunks, turtles, and even roadrunners or chaparrals’, as they are sometimes called. There are tens of thousands of public hunting acres within a few miles of Trophy Run, all part of the Mark Twain National Forest. During certain hunting seasons, parts of the trails system adjacent to Trophy Run are closed for whitetail bow hunting.

We are less than 5 minutes from the Showboat Branson Belle and Dewey Short Welcome Center where you’ll find a breathtaking view of Table Rock Dam. Moonshine Beach is the only sand beach on Table Rock Lake, and is a destination in itself. During the summer, passes are available to this pristinely maintained beach and protected swimming area.
On Site Amenities
Right up the hill from the cabins is Tad Pools Activity Center, featuring what has to be the best view from a swimming pool deck in the State of Missouri. Inside Tad Pools, is a lounge area with fireplace, large screen TV, fitness center, Foosball, Road Race Arcade, Air Hockey, pool table, and other assorted family friendly games.
Every cabin has a private deck/patio with a propane grill. Available for check-out are movies and Wii games, as well as fishing equipment, soccer balls, volleyballs, footballs, horseshoes, croquet sets, and passes to Moonshine Beach.
For the fishermen or women in the family, there is easy wader access to Lake Taneycomo (when water is not too high) and shore fishing directly from the bank. We also have contracts with award-winning Missouri fishing guides who can pick you up on site and show you the delights in local Ozarks waters. Whether you want to experience the adventure of walleye, trout, or bass; all you have to do is ask one of our recommended experts to “guide” you.
Trophy Run is also perfect for weddings and family reunions with a 2,500 square foot clubhouse available Sundays and Mondays. Ask about rates and services available.
