The All Access Tour, offered on Royal Caribbean cruises for an additional fee, takes you behind the scenes of the daily operations of a cruise ship! You are allowed access into areas of the ship that many crew members are not even allowed!

🥩🍹Food and beverage department…learn how a few thousand guests are fed onboard!

🛣️ The I-95…see the crew hallway on deck 1 of the ship!

🗑️ Incinerator and trash area…how do they manage all the trash in an environmentally safe way and what do they use the money made from recycling for?

👮 Security…so they can do a metal detector scan and pat down of each guest on the tour before being allowed into the engine control room and the bridge! They also have interesting stories to tell!

🚢 Engine control room…where very important things are monitored!

🧺 Laundry room…and I thought I had a neverending amount of laundry to do!

🎫 The bridge…the command center of the ship where the Captain can be found!

Silhouette Studio, located on Main Street USA at Disneyland, is a hidden gem! Their incredibly talented cast members will cut out your silhouette by hand just by looking at you and it only takes a few minutes. They can even do it based on a photo of a person or pet who is not physically there. This unique souvenir costs less than $15 and the ones I had done of my children have become a special keepsake!

Staying at a Disneyland Good Neighbor hotel can be booked in a package with theme park tickets and these hotels are within close proximity to Disneyland at an affordable rate!

Today I'm featuring the Candy Cane Inn, which my family found to be an excellent choice on a recent visit! Here's why:

🏘️ This full service boutique hotel property recently underwent a complete renovation and it is clean, beautiful, and charming!

🙂 The staff are helpful and friendly and there is a security guard at the entrance in the evening!

🚎 This property is located within walking distance to Disneyland Resort or they offer a complimentary shuttle! My son felt super special when he got to ring the bell on the trolley!

🚗 They offer complimentary parking, which is unheard of in this area!

👙There is a pool and hot tub in an area with plenty of comfortable seating and a fire pit to relax by!

Step through the screen with me into a four dimensional world with Mario, Luigi, and the whole gang! My family recently visited Super Nintendo World (SNW) at Universal Studios Hollywood and I am excited to tell you all about it!

🍄 The land is themed around Nintendo games and characters, including Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, and of course, Bowser. When you enter you will feel like a character in a video game too!

🍄 SNW is included with a regular admission ticket to Universal Studios, however, you can purchase an Early Access ticket, sold in limited quantities, that allows you to enter SNW one hour before the park opens and express access to the studio tour before 11:00 a.m. that day!

🍄 The Mario Kart: Bowser's Challenge ride queue takes you through Bowser's Castle and once you are seated in the ride kart, you are behind the wheel racing through courses, throwing turtle shells, and trying to beat Team Bowser!
