So I became a ZUMBA®Instructor. Before the New Year, I signed up to take this training because I will be incorporating it as part of our Shape Up and Girls Infused Programming for Youth Infusion. This is the first step. Next, I will be taking the ZUMBA® KIDS + KIDS JR. Training. It’s so important to incorporate fitness into our children’s lives and help them develop healthy habits.

We are excited to officially launch our Youth Infusion Girls Infused Program. There are only 10 spots for this 12-week program. Girls Infused is a young girls empowerment and mentorship program for girls ages 10-15 years old.
Program starts on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 and Ends on Wednesday, May 8, 2024. Meetings are from 4-6pm. Register online.

Spent part of my day at . I love when I come visit my family and am able to pop into my sister, Fatima’s gym. She and her business partner Justin do such an amazing job introducing new and exciting classes and the staff is just top notch. Their managers are awesome. I loved spending time with Christine today. She always makes me feel so welcomed. The personal trainers and instructors care and are there to help their members and clients achieve their fitness, health and wellness goals every step of the way. I am so incredibly proud and in awe of my sister. She is so inspirational and I’m so impressed. She’s a powerhouse! She treats her staff with kindness and always listens. She cares! I love you aka/Fatima, my beautiful, strong and amazing sister!

I forget how much I love working with flowers. Today I received a large delivery of flowers for a wedding I am planning. I’m also doing all the design and decor. This will be my last wedding of the season and I absolutely LOVED planning Gnora and Scott’s wedding. Such an awesome couple. So sweet and down to earth. I appreciate all the trust they have in me to help them bring their vision to life. Here I am enjoying some ranunculus 🌺 🌸 🌹 which is such a beautiful but delicate flower. ❤️

I spent the day alone with nature and it felt wonderful. I had to check out which trail would be best on the McDade Trail for our Trips For Kids Pocono Flow Discovery Trail bike ride tomorrow.
The Turn Farm (Spur) trail was great right alongside the Delaware River. It was quite a workout too! Was so glad I decided to go out on my own. I don’t usually do that but it gave me some time to pause and clear my head a bit. Self-care is something I don’t do well but today I got it just right. A 4-hour bike ride in nature was just what I needed. 🌳 🌲 🌸

We celebrated one another at our 1 year anniversary event at The Historic Castle Inn. Everything was just perfect!
I can’t believe it has been a whole year since we launched our BIG: Believe Inspire Grow PA Pod. Happy 1 year anniversary to these beautiful and inspirational women. I feel blessed to know you and I am excited about the continued growth of our PA Pod. You are all so strong and on your amazing journeys both professionally and personally and I am here for you all along with Susan Vernicek-Berkowitz and Maria Nicole Frascella. Maria, those beautiful wine glasses with the B.I.G. Logo on them were the perfect awards for our ladies. I LOVE mine. I won for “most likely to take selfies with everyone in the Poconos” award. 🤣 well, that’s the truth. I must say though, I did tone it down this time and I let all the ladies do their thing with our photo contest at the event. What fun!
I just want to give a few shout outs to say thank you to Frank at the Castle Inn. We also want to thank Ellie who makes the best empanadas. They are available for purchase at Zoe's Cafe & Ice Cream Emporium at The Castle Inn.
We had an abundance of food. Thank you to everyone for bringing the goodies. So deelish. Denise Fleitman I need the cucumber salad recipe. Loved it!

I was invited to attend a Tri-County SYSTEM OF CARE Self-Care Meeting today Tobyhanna State Park. Such great conversation focused on providing resources and systems to help families and youth in our communities as it relates to mental health. I’m looking forward to collaborating and sharing ideas and resources.
I also loved that we practiced some self-care by taking a walk together and talking about what we are all doing to make sure we are practicing self-care this Summer.

I am feeling stronger everyday. My shoulder injury is getting so much better thanks to Lindsay May Larsen, my trainer at Phoenix Athletica Boutique Fitness Studio. A few months ago, I could barely move my arm. I was just in so much pain: look at what I am able to do now? Feeling amazing and the soreness I feel tomorrow will be oh so good! 😂 💪

Had a blast at our monthly Happy Hour with some of the ladies from our B.I.G. Poconos PA Pod. We laughed, shared stories and celebrated successes. I love how much we are growing and supporting eachother.

I had the most amazing day. Though I had a hard time waking up, that quickly changed at 7am when I went over to Phoenix Athletica Boutique Fitness Studio to train with the best trainer in the Poconos, Lindsay May Larsen. After coming back from my cruise, it was hard getting back to it, but she motivates me and really helps me to understand my body and to listen to it. After months of feeling pain on my right shoulder, I am happy to say that I am doing so much better and that’s because Lindsay really took the time to work on healing it first. We focused on functional exercises and it’s been helping. Here I am pulling this bar down which I wasn’t able to do before without a lot of pain.
After the gym, decided to get some healthy veggies for dinner tonight and for my morning smoothie. Then I decided to spend some time with my chickas and my sweet Belle. It was a great start to my day. Life is about balance.

Surprised my beautiful niece yesterday when I was in NJ for the Health and wellness expo. I’m so proud of her. She’s such a hard worker and I can’t wait to see her journey as she continues to grow and learn and have many adventures. ❤️🙌🙏 you are a blessing Leanna ❤️ she even made me a cappuccino with ❤️

Had a blast on our cruise. Really made an effort to stay off the grid and recharge. Before going, I was feeling completely burnt out. Sometimes you have to just unplug and get away! Best decision we ever made. Loved that we had some time with my parents too.

Yes every time I am in NY, I am a total “tourist” 😂 I walk around bumping into people as I stare at everything around me. There’s just so much to see.
I am so glad and excited to be teaching several district directors and staff how to podcast with their middle schoolers. Thank you to for having me today. I look forward to working with you. I love that you are using podcasting as a tool and resource to help youth with social emotional learning and incorporating unconventional methods and forward thinking approaches to teach young people 21st century skills they need now more than ever. is So happy to be a part of it.

When women get together, amazing synergy and great things happen. Our B.I.G. (Believe, Inspire, Grow) PA Poconos Pod meeting was full of energy, learning, sharing and networking. We had our founding leaders and some new faces in attendance too! Our fearless leader, Susan Vernicek-Berkowitz gave us some REEL tangible tips and tricks to create and launch video reels on and by the end of our meeting, we all posted a reel on n instagram.

We had such a fun Trips for Kids Pocono Flow mountain bike ride today at Tobyhanna State Park! Some of our youth have been with us since last year and we had a few new faces. We love when the parents come along to explore on the discovery trail rides.
Everyone always learns about bike and helmet safety. Today we talked a lot about the importance of our National Parks and again reiterated the importance of Leave No Trace.
Susan Melchiorre, our ride leader from PACT was just amazing! She taught our riders some basic safety and riding skills activities. We will be incorporating more of these skills and activities through our Sprockids programming in the Spring of next year but for now, everyone is really enjoying it before each of our rides.
Thank you to our ride leaders, Sue Melchiorre and Jorge Almeida. Team work makes the dream work! Thank you to the mommas that came out with their kiddos today. It was such a wonderful thing to see and experience.
