Here’s how:

🐾 For Dogs:

Agility Course: Use chairs as weave poles and a broom balanced on buckets for a jump. Guide your dog through the course, rewarding them with treats for each successful maneuver.
Hide & Seek: Keep their tails wagging by hiding their favorite toys or treats around the house and encouraging them to find them.

🐾 For Cats:

Puzzle Feeder: Place treats in a muffin tin and cover each slot with a tennis ball. Watch as your cat figures out how to retrieve the hidden goodies.
Interactive Play: Use a laser pointer or feather wand to mimic prey movements. This not only exercises their body but also stimulates their hunting instincts.

Does Your ESA Need To Be Trained?

Even though your ESA fur baby 🐶 is legally approved (by a licensed doctor) this is NOT a free pass for them to exhibit bad behavior. 😡 For instance... If I’m a renter and my ESA Chili is a threat to the safety of others in my rental apartment building, or even if his presence is causing an undue burden on the landlord then the landlord has a justified right in denying my accommodation or immediately filing an eviction notice. In fact... You can be held liable for damages and attacks by your ESA. This information is what every ESA parents needs to know regarding their rights. So even though getting an ESA doesn’t require special training, it’s a great idea to get your fur baby trained. We need to be responsible ESA parents. Whether it’s excessive barking, not relieving themselves at the appropriate time or place, or not behaving appropriately around other animals, especially service dogs, you may want to search for a local obedience school and get your ESA trained. Enjoy your ESA fur baby responsibly!
